"This hotel was more budget than I believed it was from the details I saw when booking. I felt like I was staying in a prison; which was fine for an experience, but I wouldn't stay again. Breakfast consisted of cold pancakes and solid honey/syrup. The shower heat needed to be set just right, because it'll constantly go very hot to very cold. Plus I was advised the air conditioning will not work because in France April/May is winter still, even though you'll get blaring hot sun through the window in the morning, making you feel like you're in a green house."

"We arrived early hoping to check in ahead of time. Initially, we were told our room was ready, but the front desk staff quickly corrected this and informed us it would be about an hour—around the standard 3:00 pm check-in time. We went out to grab a bite and pick up some water, but unfortunately, when we returned, our room was still not ready. In the end, we didn’t get access until around 4:30 pm, about 1.5 hours past the expected time. To their credit, the front desk offered us access to the lounge as compensation, which we appreciated. However, the delay did disrupt our sightseeing plans for the day. When we finally entered the room, it appeared clean, but as a family of four, we noticed the Murphy bed had not been prepared and there were no sheets provided. Before heading out again around 5:00 pm, we asked the front desk if the bed could be made up for our children while we were out, and we were assured it would be taken care of. Unfortunately, when we returned around 9:30–10:00 pm, the bed was still not set up. We had to contact the front desk again, which was frustrating—especially after a long day of delays with tired kids. Overall, while some efforts were made to address the situation, the lack of follow-through impacted our experience."

"We had a very pleasant stay at Tulips during our city break to Paris. Upon arrival, the staff were very polite and accommodating, enabling us to check in much earlier than expected which was greatly appreciated after our early journey. The room was modern and spacious with a high standard of cleanliness. It included a variety of amenities such as a HD flat screen television, a rainfall shower in the bathroom and a well-stocked kitchenette with all the necessary equipment which made it convenient for in room dining. Although we did not opt for breakfast, the selection available appeared fresh and varied. While the hotel is located slightly further from the city centre than we anticipated, a short 15-minute walk to the nearest metro station provided easy access to various destinations, alongside other transport options such as buses and taxis. One point to note is that, due to the short duration of our stay, there was no housekeeping turnover service, meaning towels and bedding were not refreshed. While this was not a significant issue for us, it may be worth considering for future guests. Overall, we had a really pleasant and comfortable stay. ☺️"

"Really well located in the Bercy area with Bercy Village a very short walk away with plenty of restaurants and shops. Close to the metro which makes travel around Paris simple. Bathroom was small but recently renovated and room was clean and functional."
