Great break. Food was really good and varied. The weather was surprisingly good right up to Christmas Day itself which started windy and slightly overcast but soon cleared up. Only issues were lift broken down for a couple of days and bathroom could have done with a decorate/refurb.

This hotel was very spacious, modern and peaceful. Room was comfortable and tasteful. Bed was huge and nice bathroom. Was cleaned every day if required. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and well kept. Most guests were older couples, mainly German, which meant it was nice and quiet with no loud drunk Brits if you know what I mean 😉. Lovely hotel, friendly staff, ideally located close to the beach. We decided to go with breakfast only which was very nice. There is the town of Morro Jable 5 minutes taxi ride away which has some lovely restaurants and bars at the seafront. This is where we went for dinner as we didn't want to be "tied" to the hotel every evening. Would definitely recommend the hotel and location.

This was our third stay at the Calypso. There is nothing to say negatively about the hotel. Many locals and some hotel staff have a better command of German than English because of the number of German guests staying in this area.

Wonderful hotel with excellent facilities. Large pool, plenty of sun beds. Buffet meals, excellent choices with meat/fish freshly cooked as required. Rooms large with balcony and very clean. Service very efficient, hairdryer did not work and was changed for a new one the same day. This is our second time to this hotel and we can honestly say that we were not disappointed. Everything was just as amazing as it was last year. The food is to die for, so much to choose from and the quality was like nothing you can compare to. Great staff. Great Food. Rooms cleaned everyday. I had a Great time with the family. everything in one roof and loads of activities nearby.

The hotel is centrally located with everything including the beautiful, long, white-sand beach within walking distance. Very friendly, competent reception staff and a quick check-in experience with no waiting. The room (suite) was very large and well furnished with a separate sitting area. We had a lovely balcony with view to the ocean and light tower. The breakfast and dinner buffets were modest but included something for everyone's taste.

You cannot go far wrong here. If you want heat, sun, a sun bed, good food without the fancy fanfare you cannot go wrong here. This is our 7th time at the hotel. Now.. nothings changed but it needs to. Not going overboard but simple refinements are needed, comfy sofas, strict rules on where to smoke, better lighting of a night time & acoustic panels in the dining hall to lessen the noise. We had a great 6 night stay in a suite. Absolutely huge lounge area, bedroom and the biggest round bath ive ever seen! We had a wonderful wrap around balcony, again huge, with table chairs and 2 sunbeds. The food was varied and catered for all tastes and nationalities. The wholechotel was very clean, from rooms to all communal areas. We'd hired a car and parked just outside on the road which was easy. Highly recommend.

The Italian Manager, Alessandro could not have been more helpful to us. He upgraded us to a pool view and ensured that every query was answered effectively. The food at this hotel (which is predominantly German) is absolutely first class. The standard of drinks is superb, inc the wine selection at dinner. Very good value for money, the suite looks nice and modern, the bed was huge and very comfy. The pool area was lovely as well.

It was an amazing hotel, very clean and well air conditioned. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room looked even better than the photos and we had a lovely view of the sea! Overall a really nice stay and I recommend it!

Nice for a low key relaxing holiday. Activities and food geared towards German tourists but still plenty to do and u had a relaxing time

Wonderful service. Beautifully decorated for Xmas. Choice of 3 restaurants for food. Great cocktails. Definitely worth upgrading to privilege Be warned….pool not heated.

The best holiday we've had so far, will definitely be coming back at the end of the year :)
