Pelican Place in Morro Bay

  • Pelican Place is a private home in the desirable Harbor Tract neighborhood. It is a duplex that has been completely remodeled. The location is ideal as you are within minutes to the harbor, Embarcaderro, Morro Strand beach, Main St., shopping, dining, and local tourist activities. All of this and yet you are tucked away on a very quaint and quiet residential street. There is a trolley stop and grocery shopping nearby. You are also close enough to walk to the Embarcadero, Harbor, Main Street, the downtown which hosts many restaurants, wine tastings, and bars, or Morro Strand beach. Come see our little bay. The Central Coast is also home to Hearst Castle, Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles, Cayucos, Cambria, Montana De Oro, and many other wonderful places to visit.
    This home is the downstairs unit of a duplex. Both entries are private and peaceful. The kitchen is fully supplied and has everything needed to make almost any meal. The bedroom has a queen size bed. There is a second bed that is a fold away twin bed.
    The bathroom is a full bathroom and is off of the bedroom. It has a shower /tub combination.

Perfect little getaway! My 2 sisters and I had not seen each other in 7 yrs ... The cottage was great... cozy, simple and right next to the beach and wonderful restaurants!We cooked together in a well stocked kitchen and had comfortable sleeping arrangements and will be back again! Our host was kind, reliable and always helpful!

It was quite nice. Its located centrally and not far from the beach and or the downtown grocery shopping area. It was very clean and decorated very well. The lower part of a duplex, but neibhors were not too noisy. Perfect for my little family.

Pelican Square in Morro Bay

Very clean and comfortable, so many thoughtful touches; being the bottom floor of the duplex could be problematic but both sets of upstairs guests were fairly quiet.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Pelican Place. The place has such a homey feel and we settled in nicely. You can hear some interaction from the attached unit but it was not intrusive. Check-in and out was a breeze. Kitchen is well stocked and the bed is comfortable. Pay attention to the hot water though - ooh, it is HOT. Neighborhood is quiet and close to PCH.You cannot go wrong staying here if you are exploring the area. We toured Hearst Castle and had a guided kayak tour in Morro Bay. It is also walking distance to Morro Bay's Embarcadero. Great spot for a quick overnight stop while traveling California from north to south or vice versa. We were fortunate enough to meet LaRonda and her husband. So personable and welcoming. They put a lot of love into the place. Thank you for adding to our great memories.

Great Location! Very Clean

The location was very close to the beach. Downtown and the beach were within driving in less than five minutes. Walking is a little sketchier, but after the first five minutes, everything is walking distance easily. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything that you may need to cook with. I really enjoyed being there

Long weekend stay

We came to stay in Morro Bay on our daughter’s recommendation who goes to Cal Poly. We loved the town and the place. Will be back. First VRBO place with a rack full of spices, ground coffee for the morning, and well stacked bathroom amenities. Big Thanks Downside: limited room for hanging clothes in the closet.

Nice little bungalo with very comfortable bed

Perfect one bedroom stay. Had 4 different pillows to choose from. Bed was very comfortable - firm but nothing extreme. extra blanket in the closet if needed. clean. kitchen had a smattering of pots, pans and utensils. microwave. Liked everything about it.

Perfect family weekend getaway.

My husband booked us this place for my birthday weekend. Upon entry of the home we felt right at home. The home is beautiful, clean and cozy. It was the perfect size for us. We had our two year old son, and he also loved the house. They have a television, enough extra linen, and all the necessities you can ask for. Just buy your food that you want to eat, and everything else is available for use. The only thing I would suggest is to have a small fan of some sort in the living room area because it it does get a little stuffy, but other than that I would definitely stay there again. I'd choose this place over a hotel due to parking and provacy. Loved it and recommend this place to anyone visiting Morry Bay! Thank you homeowner for sharing your beautiful home.
