Doric Hotel

"This was our return visit to the Doric Hotel & as before the staff were very nice especially the dining room lady Una, she was exceptional. I booked 2 sea view rooms in September 2025 but when we arrived in June 2026, our friends were given a side sea room. When we complained they offered to move them the next day (very disappointing as we’d booked months ago & both paid for a sea view room & expecting to be close together but we were on different floors) Rooms were tired & our bathroom had a bad water stench smell. Nice outdoor pool which we were able to take advantage of. Food was very nice & always a good choice. The evening entertainment was very much the same each evening just a different singer & some evenings felt very sorry for them when singing to only 10 people (which one singer described as a furniture sales room). Overall we had a good time but just need to sort out the booking system & update bedroom/bathrooms."

"Very clean rooms. Beds were very comfortable. Shower was very good and hot. Big tv, although it wasn't a smart tv in my room, but was blurry. Wouldn't let me screen mirror fully from my phone to the tv. Breakfast was very good especially the waffle maker if you like them. Was disappointed though with 1 of the 3 rooms as i did orginally book a family room for 3 people. But what i was told by my group of friends. They didn't get a family room as it would of been 2 beds and a sofa bed. So i was disappointed with that."

"the room was lovely location great hotel was having some work done but that didnt interfere with us there was no air con but reception gave us a fan and were quick delivering it als o they were having probs with phones the hotel is going to be fabulous when finished would defo go back"
The Imperial Hotel

"Stayed for 3 days and had a nice time. Drinks at the bar are reasonably priced. Didn’t use room service but we did have breakfast and it was very good quality and a good variety of food. Room was spacious and while it didn’t have air conditioning there was a fan and the room wasn’t too hot even in the heatwave. Gave 4 stars rather than 5 because the bathrooms need updating and the bath could use a scrub. Would stay again :)"

"What a splendid stay overnight. Staff were friendly and welcoming. There was free parking right outside. Eat as much you want breakfast with ample selection And a great sea view while you eat. The bathroom was a little tired but otherwise a great place to stay and will definitely stay again and recommend this place."

"Lauren and Georgia very helpful and lovely couldn’t do enough for me, rooms are so nicely done now, food in the pub fresh and very hot when received, great variety of food too, very clean. I can’t recommend the village hotel in Blackpool enough I will be back soon 😁"
