99 Acres Bangalow Retreat

99 Acres Bangalow Retreat

10/10 Excellent
"We would highly recommend this property as its location is so central to Bangalow and the Villas are elevated and nestled into the surrounding hinterland and the hilltop views are outstanding and breathtaking. It’s so peaceful and quiet and private and you have everything you need for your stay to be comfortable and self contained and relaxed with a full kitchen, spacious bathroom and large lovely bedroom with king size bed and lounge and dining area that flows out to the decking and beyond to the views. You feel at one with the landscape and nature. It’s a short walk into Bangalow township. It’s relaxing and the view itself is pure joy… 10/10"

Reflections Byron Bay - Holiday Park

Reflections Byron Bay - Holiday Park

10/10 Excellent
"We booked a premium 2 bedroom villa. It totally exceeded our expectations. We needed help being shown how to lock the sliding door from the inside but apart everything was awesome. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. The villa had everything we needed for a week. No oven but a stove yop and microwave. It was calming, warm, cool, cosy, soundproof. Highly recommended. Totally in the best location to access the shops and Wategoes, right in the middle."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Montecollum?
The best area to stay in Montecollum is directly within the Montecollum village and its immediate surroundings, particularly for those seeking a tranquil escape with easy access to nature. The village itself is small and peaceful, located in the Northern Rivers hinterland. It's characterised by rolling green hills, lush rainforest remnants, and views towards the coast. Accommodation here tends to be secluded, often featuring private villas or guesthouses designed to blend with the natural environment. You'll find properties scattered along quiet country lanes like Montecollum Road and Left Bank Road, offering a genuine sense of privacy and connection to the landscape.Couples looking for a romantic getaway will find Montecollum ideal. The quiet setting, often with private decks, outdoor baths, and stunning vistas, provides a superb backdrop for relaxation and reconnection. Many accommodations offer amenities like private plunge pools or high-end kitchen facilities, encouraging a self-sufficient and intimate experience. The focus here is on unwinding and enjoying the natural beauty, perhaps with a short drive to nearby Mullumbimby for dining or Byron Bay for beach visits. For solo travellers seeking a peaceful retreat and a chance to disconnect, Montecollum offers a serene environment. The opportunity for quiet contemplation, surrounded by nature, is a significant draw. Many places offer comfortable spaces for reading, meditation, or simply enjoying the views.
