"The checkin was well communicated via email and totally virtual. We had no interaction with any staff. The room was nice but, despite a sign on the bathroom door, a very small step from the bedroom to the bathroom resulted in painful toes as both my wife and I stubbed them on the step. We were in the ‘Deer’ room which is on the third floor. Carrying our luggage up three staircases and narrow corridors was very difficult - there is no lift! There was a lot of street noise until past 11pm. In all, the accommodation is ideally located, clean and a good choice for a stopover in Monmouth."

"Solo traveller, one night stop off. Camping hut for two (two single beds) which was warm and cosy. I'd have chosen a kettle over a TV but that's my preference. Stunning surroundings. 3 huts in one very large field so quiet. Excepting unfortunately the noise from the adjacent A road.. which runs alongside the site. Café/ bar on site (this is where reception is) comfy, friendly, good breakfast, views overlooking the pond. Facilities numerous. A good site for families I'd say."

"What a beautiful gem of a B&B. The house is immaculate with stunning views on the balcony in the living area which guests are able to use. Bharat and Ann are extremely friendly and helpful hosts who made our stay even more special. The room was large and comfortable with all amenities. Our highlight was the delicious breakfast cooked by Bharat. We will definitely stay here again!"

"Cathy, the host of Top Barn, was great and her communications throughout were excellent. The property was clean and in a wonderful location with the most fabulous views from the garden. The sweet footpath from where our car was parked wasn’t as far as we thought, although downhill which was fine for us. The Welsh cakes and lovely local honey were very much appreciated, as well as the varieties of tea and coffee. Thank you so much, we had a lovely stay."

"Lovely stay at Long Barn. Plenty of space for the 4 of us. Loved the fire pit/view. Sounds of birds in the morning was gorgeous. Had amazing weather. Cathy was a great host. Would highly recommend a stay here. Enjoyed the walk up to the Kymin too. "
