Find hotels in Molfsee from £41

The best time to go to Molfsee is during the late spring and summer months, from May to September, when the weather is at its most pleasant.

During these months, you'll experience longer daylight hours and warmer temperatures, which are ideal for exploring the open-air museum and enjoying the natural surroundings. The local lakes are great for outdoor activities, and the comfortable weather makes walking and cycling much more enjoyable. Families often find this period excellent for a holiday, as children can make the most of the outdoor attractions without the chill of winter.

While Molfsee is quieter in the autumn and winter, the Christmas markets in nearby Kiel and the festive decorations can be quite charming.
