Thoroughly enjoyable stay in a renovated commercial property dating back to at least the first half of1900's, if not earlier. The rooms were very tastefully decorated, which gives it a distinctive Japanese feel, but with all modern amenities. The morning breakfast made from local, seasonal ingredients was del8cious and a great experience in itself. The staff were very friendly and dedicated, and the service was outstanding. All in all, a pleasant time. Wish I could have stayed longer.

"This was my second time staying at this hotel and while it was clean, convenient and affordable, service that day left a bit to be desired. When I arrived, an older gentleman at the check in desk greeted me somewhat brusquely and didn't believe me when I said I had a reservation, asking me to provide ..."

Convenient hotel near the station.
"Close to Matsuyama station and 10 minutes walk to the restaurant areas. A bit old but the internals have been renewed somewhat and it felt clean enough for us. Free breakfast and large public bath (as well as private bathroom) is also an added bonus."
