Room not ready
"We arrived after a 5hr drive very tired, my wife has a bad heart and we both wanted to sleep. The check in was supposed to be after 3pm, we arrived at 4pm and were told the room would not be ready till 5pm, so we had to wander round the town for an hour. The receptionist really didn't seem to care. ..."
"Not up to the usual Mercure standard we are used to. Lack of staff, small and part of the Ibis Hotel also not as we would have liked. Room was small, however the breakfast was good. However the Viaduct de Millau did go some way to making it all good which we would have not missed for the world"

"The hotel is in the very centre of Millau, on the central roundabout (with a fountain). Bit hard to find at first because it’s on the third floor of the building. Parking for my motorbike was €10 so I chained it in the bike parking outside the hotel. Very pleasant reception and nice breakfast. Smallest bathroom and shower I’ve ever experienced but no big deal. You’re right on the doorstep for cafes and restaurants and the viewing point for the viaduct is a few minutes drive away. "

"Located behind the bowling alley, the Hotel du Bowling offers clean, comfortable no-frills accommodation for a reasonable price. Staff were friendly, room was a good size, shower was good. Secure parking on site. And there is dining conveniently located in the bowling alley next door.
I would not hesitate to stay there again."
