"This was a wonderfully comfortable and charming hotel. Checking in was easy and the storage of our luggage till room ready was well managed. Paul, the concierge helped me find things in the property and directed us in town. Very nice staff but Paul was excellent in particular.
Breakfast was good and the dining room decorated in Alice in wonderland watercolors, bright window light and comfortable seating. The food was varied and you could find something for your taste and dietary needs.
Our room was well appointed and very comfortable-- chairs that you could sit in and watch the people go by into Oxford.
The hotel is just across from the Ashmolian museum and was close to train station.
Also, your room card is a facsimile of a famous Oxford student. Just a nice touch.
Plenty of places to sit and read a book, have a drink or get tea.
I think this is a wonderful place and will look for other graduate hotels when I travel. "
