The hotel location is amazing, walking around the centre of Milan on foot . The breakfast is delicious and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. It has an outdoor area which is very nice to sit, have a tea or drink while experiencing the vibes of via Torino street.This is my second time in Ariston hotel and definitely if I have the chance to visit Milano again I will choose the Ariston hotel again

Most of the time the shower couldn’t get hot. Thankfully it was very warm outside so it wasn’t terrible but never had a hot shower during my stay. The room was very clean and the hotel smelled very nice. The staff was kind.

The hotel was very nice. I really liked it. It was even better than what I expected. The only thing are the staff isn’t that friendly and they don’t turn on the AC so I was felling hot and sweaty when I was in the lobby and they whatever basic service we need as iron needed to be paid but otherwise the hotel is good and in a great location. Felt very safe and def would stay there again

I only stayed one night but it was a very nice hotel! The staff were very friendly and helpful with getting a taxi and with the luggage. The room was clean and had some nice smelling products in the bathroom. I didn’t get to check out the breakfast. The air conditioning worked great! It’s walking distance to a lot of great spots in Milan.

The property itself is so gorgeous. The staff is a bit weird and unfriendly. The service is not that great and they charge you if you ask for extra wine glasses even if you pick it up from the bar yourself which is so weird and unlike a 4 star hotel to do… but I wasn’t staying to hang out at the hotel anyways LOL. The breakfast was good and the room was clean. Only issue is that the room was so small i could barely open my checked bag. The area the hotel is in is so convenient and very safe!

I'm leaving a five star review simply because the staff were beyond wonderful. From front desk to room maintenance to the Philippino gentleman (so sorry I forget his name) who looks after the buffet breakfast room. I was a transfer from another accommodation that wasn't working out, and the whole team was so gracious. Now, there was a small matter of a dank smell in the room, but keep in mind it is a older, stone building so this happens. Little bit of Febreeze, open a window and problem solved. The breakfast buffet had a wonderful variety of items including hot scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage...items you don't always find on a buffet breakfast. AND a prosecco station if you wanted a mimosa! Was a bit sad the roof top terrace was closed for maintenance and one of the elevators was out of service, but this happens. All in all...a wonderful hotel walking distance to the Duomo and Sforza Palazzo, close to the metro and lots of places to eat and shop.

Pros and cons

Positive: Great location, quest, friendly staff, decent breakfast. Cons: very uncomfortable bed, very small room, very small shower. With the bed so rock hard I barely slept the 3 nights I was here. Fine place to stay on vacation. If you’re traveling for work and need sleep, I would not choose to stay here again.

We had such a lovely time at Hotel Ariston. The staff were gracious and accomodating with our requests, keeping our luggage for most of the day while we were out in Milan. The breakfast was amazing and German was kind, caring and hospitable. We were so well-cared for! Our family will never forget the kindness and caring we recieved during our stay.
