"All staff were professional, courteous and friendly. They all went out of their way to grant your requests. The ambience is very nice. The electrical outlets on the patio didn't always work. Had to be creative in getting plugs to stay in. They also need to upgrade from 110v to 220v. Just kidding, but they should have something for travelers from Europe. Internet service was pretty good. Everyone in my group were pleased and would return. The tour setup for us by the manager was fun!!!! Good...

"The view was amazing we felt safe at this location.There wasnt much within walking distance so having a driver helped plus route taxis are always passing by and easy to wave down.Beach was not as accessible as we thought but the view made up for it. "If you 're tired of the same ole same ole all inclusive hotels that keep you in a little touristy bubble this is the way to go . Our experience here was the best we have has travelling to Jamaica. This is a house is located in a gated community within a community with real Jamaican neighbors.It was extremely quiet and private and besides a few people jogging in the mornings we hardly saw anyone. I paid $185 in cash on check in, which I thought was ridiculous but it was a last minute trip and the other place I wanted to stay was not available and I had a 2020 voucher for this place. they had no blankets and one set of sheets for the beds, plastic was covering the mattress. "I loved everything about the room except the fact i was unable to use the tub that was in my room. I suggest you tell customers that even tho the tub will be in the room they wouldn't be able to have it filled, but they can choose to keep it or take a standing shower instead. Overall the property and it's staff was truly amazing. This was my second visit and i will be back."

"Our stay at Whispering Seas was lovely. It did start out a little rocky, but Melanie, Melanie, Melanie!! The communication with Melanie was top-tier, and she addressed our issue immediately. I am planning on returning with my entire family next year and hope Melanie will have space to accommodate us all. Two suggestions I have are: having 2 blow dryers available to those who frequent the pool/beach, and a full-length mirror. I have to add that the location is perfect, as it is right outside of Ocho Rios, less than 10 minutes from the hustle and bustle. I am already missing the views and hearing the waves crashing along the shore. Thanks, Melanie for an awesome week away."

"The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. The staff were courteous and helpful. The Jamaican breakfast was delicious. The air conditioning along with the fan worked well. Good running water in the shower. The grounds were well kept. I have absolutely no complaints. When I saw the hotel rating I was curious as to how this older hotel has such an excellent rating (9/1 0). There was nothing here that could be considered modern except for their brilliant idea to use solar panels as covering for the car park. What makes this hotel a winner, I believe, is the quiet, laid back, relaxing atmosphere (old charm) away from the crowds associated with large all-inclusive resorts."
