Property a little dated but clean and functional. Lovely staff very happy to help. We were upgraded to an executive suite which had a 4 poster bed. Very nice and unexpected.
Room 23
Noisy extractor fan.
Should use spoons for tea instead of wood sticks.
Should fix wallpaper falling down in room.
But very clean and comfortable.
Very helpful staff opening the bar for some drinks.
Also upgraded me to a better room which was very generous.
Walk from railway station through park...shops on doorstep..staff pleasant...room was comfortable and clean...bathroom had everything you needed...would definitely stay again
Great place to stay for 1-2 nights . Room was adequate for our stay , clean and tidy. Staff very polite and the all English breakfast was great value for money at just under £10, would certainly recommend.

Very large room with a comfortable king sized bed, a sofa and a desk
I stayed one night. The room was clean and well appointed, and the staff were polite and helpful. Parking was easy amd safely off the road. I enjoyed my stay, and would definitely book again if I am in the area.

Parking difficult due to event in hotel. We paid for an executive double room, the bed was very small and uncomfortable, definitely not a double so if booking be aware. Description indicates a restaurant, there is not one and breakfast is not served on a Monday. The location was ideal for where we wanted to go. We will not book again sorry.
Stayed here as visiting an event in Melton Mowbray. Good location only a short walk in to town. We had room 35 which was a large sized room. Had quite a low ceiling though.
A more traditional hotel, with lots of period features. We received a warm welcome from the staff. The Executive Room we had been allocated had a huge, and very comfortable, bed, and there was plenty of space in the room, with good hanging space and a sofa in the bay window. The bathroom was a little dated, but entirely functional. The hotel is close to the centre, but has lots of free parking to the rear. We did not have breakfast. We would definitely use this hotel in the future.
