"Our room was very clean and roomy. The bed was comfortable. The lobby is amazing. A little disappointed the restaurant was closed. Also, the saloon is closed on Sundays. I’ve stayed here several times and have always been pleased. We will return. Staff was friendly and the rates are great."

"Well. One day the beds were not made - they apologized. The sink area stayed dirty during our stay. The bathroom, either toilet or shower was leaking as we had water all over the bathroom floor the morning we departed. Oh let them know. Would not stay there again"

"The property is beautiful with well manicured grass to the river bank. The cypress trees provide a natural canopy of shade and there is a picnic table on River bank that is convenient. The river is not very wide but it’s deep enough to jump off rope swing. It’s also spring fed so it’s cold, but not unbearable. The kids had a great time fishing, swimming, jumping off rope swing and catching fireflies at night. We had 15 in our group ages 5 to 87 and the house was big enough to accommodate all. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals and there is a large pit/smoker outside for your grilling needs. The hot tub was unfortunately not operating, but Steve let us know about it ahead of time and allowed an early check in, due to the inconvenience. Truth be told it wasn’t an inconvenience at all as I don’t recall our group asking about it one time. The town of Utopia is just up the road and the general store has anything you need in case you forget something. We had an excellent time and everyone was bummed about having to leave. If you’re looking for a beautiful private rental this is an excellent spot, especially for larger groups. 5 star review.Scott"

"attendant at front desk to check in prompt and professional, Clean Room, Air conditioning functional. Shower water pressure from 2nd floor shower head barely a trickle (after 9pm) however, main tub faucet strong pressure - shower head needs to be replaced, Breakfast included - eggs, biscuits & gravy, bananas, waffles, yogurt, no meat (i.e... bacon, sausage etc.. )with breakfast. Biscuits & eggs bad taste, gravy didn't taste cooked (like uncooked similar to paste - like raw flour). Had higher expectations for a La Quinta Inn."

"When book Wikipedia I requested to be given the discount that was given to the convention at the time by Disabled American Veterans. The customer service indicated that that discount was going to be apply. They lied to me. They charge me $505 for two rooms that I could’ve got them for $280 at the hotel location. I will not recommend Expedia to anyone else to purchase because false advertisement in honoring discount to nonprofit organizations is preferable to book directly with a hotel and you will save hundreds of dollars. Please disregard Expedia if any question you can contact me at 210-316-3465."
