"We loved the setting and the friendly staff, all of them. We especially liked John, who helped us to our room with the luggage cart. Our dinner at the pub was delicious and had big views of the grounds and the Columbia River. I was disappointed that I chose to pay for the room when booking the one night to save $40 but then was charged a $40 resort fee when I checked in. "

"Casa Maria was an amazing place. It was cute, clean, and comfortable. The outdoor area was an added bonus. I absolutely loved sitting out on the deck listening to babbling brook down below as a read my book. I wish we were staying longer. Plus the beds were comfortable, the decor was cute, & the towels were amazing! "

"Fantastic experience here! One of the best places we’ve ever stayed anywhere, anytime. We were in the Mt. St. Helen’s cabin and it was wonderful! Fireplace, jacuzzi in the room, outside swing, beautiful and comfortable bed, wine and espresso. Gorgeous landscaping and beautiful grounds. The breakfasts each morning were delicious- we did both in room and in lodge and loved both experiences. Friendly people who go the extra mile to ensure we had a wonderful stay - very genuine and kind staff who clearly care about their guests. We highly recommend this spot and we will definitely be back!!"

"I love this little boutique hotel. I was initially disappointed not to have an in room fridge, but after one night I really appreciate Kate’s the peacefulness of not hearing the buzz of a mini fridge all night. They do have a common fridge in the guest dining area. It had a microwave and coffee bar and little tables where you could sit and look at the beautiful views. Coffee was ready at 7am daily but you could also make your own with the keurig in your room. I only ate breakfast at the hotel, but it was delicious! The scrambled eggs are outstanding! The room is so cute with clean and well kept antiques. The bathroom was cute too with an antique cabinet style sink. The view of the mountains and river are beautiful. I was worried about the train, but the crossing arms are silent and the train doesn’t blow its horn. It was rather soothing and went by at a low hum. I will stay there again! It exceeded my expectations! "
