This is a beautiful country house hotel just outside Wexford. It is ideally situated to explore the beautiful east coast beaches and numerous historical attractions nearby. It has warm friendly hosts and offers a stonkingly good breakfast. Definitely recommended.

Friendly and efficient staff. Good bedroom, good bar and great food.

First time staying at the farmers kitchen while in wexford , very pleased all round , proper value for money , will be going back without a doubt .

Wanted a room for a single night to break a journey. Could not have chosen better. Easy check in at the bar and plenty of parking. We were a couple but given a very spacious family room. It was clean with nice bedding and towels. No food on site but that is reflected in the very reasonable price. Lots of bars and eateries a short walking distance away. The recommemdations made by the host were both great.

Stayed before at the Ferrycarrig due to the facilities at the hotel and the fantastic views of the Estuary. You won't be disappointed. Only small gripe was breakfast due to self service the cooked bacon etc can be a tad cold and chewy. Otherwise good spread and plenty to chose from.

Everything was impeccable- spacious and very comfortable room with lots of unexpected amenities. Such a quiet spot, but a very short easy walk from the middle of town. The property being surrounded by flowers was a delight. They did me a lovely vegan breakfast. Very friendly and welcoming owners. Would absolutely recommend, and stay again.

Water front views ,on the Quay in Wexford yet only around the corner from the main shopping areas of this town. Plenty do and lots of information of where to go in the reception area, The spa facilities were great. Just make sure you book for any special massages etc that you may like as they are in great demand. Will be going there again.

Lovely apartment the staff where amazing as always we were lucky enough to have a sea view apartment fabulous view location of the talbot suite and hotel is great for local amenities, the food and staff in the hotel are excellent have stayed there many times and will continue to do so , thank you to all the staff for making it memorable

Whenever I am in Ireland I can always depend on the Maldron having a comfortable room ready - especially for my son who is disabled; they are very friendly and always ready to help - I always enjoy my stay at Wexford Maldron, will be returning later

Great place to stay staff very helpful, room clean and modern Great central location

Fantastic, friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you

We had a warm welcome from Pauline and Chris who were throughout great hosts - happy to help with local visits and places to eat. A lovely setting on a useful through route just 35 minutes from the port.

Sensational property!

Two good hosts, great breakfast and well located to explore the coastline and local area.

We stayed at this hotel on very short notice as we were delayed on a ferry crossing to Rosslare - this hotel is about 30 minutes' drive from the port and would be an ideal place to stay the night before a sailing or as a base for exploring Wexford and its many attractions. We arrived late in the evening to a warm welcome and the offer of food if we needed it: we had a very comfortable room with two double beds for our family of four, and a view of the Slaney River from our Juliet balcony. Great stay and a wonderful place. It's not a buffet breakfast so it can be a bit slow but that suits the pace of the place. Should perhaps leave butter, jam and marmalade on the tables. That's a fine critique but every little helps.

Lovely staff good food and drink

Unfortunately only a one night stay n a lovely little corner of Ireland and would have liked to spend a few more days to explore.
