It would be about a 15-minute walk to get on the train from there. I think it was advertised as a closer walk than it actually is. "We stayed in Enniscorthy on our way to visit Wexford and walked around the town. The staff were exceptionally helpful and gave us good information on the parking which is in the car park across the road at the leisure centre. Plenty of spaces available on a saturday and just €5 to park overnight which is payable at the hotel. We ate in the Thai restaurant which was good food and had a drink and watched the live music in the bar."

"We stayed for a short trip to Wexford to do some business that coincided with our anniversary. The hotel kindly put a fridge in our room that I needed for some medication, and in the message via the Hotels.com portal I mentioned that we were looking forward to staying for our anniversary. Imagine our surprise when we arrived to discover that the Whitford team had upgraded our room and put a wonderful dessert dish with the message 'happy anniversary' written in chocolate. The team went out of their way for everything, the Wexford people are so lovely, which carries through to all the staff we encountered. I remember coming here when I was a small child and so lovely to see that the hotel has grown to the wonderful establishment that is here today, without losing any of the charm. The hotel is in a prime spot for going into town, or further afield for sightseeing. After staying in several different hotels when we visit Wexford to 'try them out' - We will definitely be back to this one!"
