We booked a 2 night stay here to celebrate my wife's birthday , we wanted a relaxing weekend and the white horse seemed to offer what we were looking for . Right from check-in i realised we had definitely picked the right place . We received a warm and friendly welcome and were shown to our room . The staff service was exceptional at this hotel, the friendly and attentiveness of the employees really made this a wonderful break away. The room was ideal in a pet friendly room it was not luxurious but adequate and suited our visit. The food was wonderful and we felt treated from arriving to departure. I would recommend this hotel it can not be faltering delivery.

This is truly a wonderful hotel to stay I've stayed in hundreds of hotels This is in my top 3 to stay in If I'm ever working in Sheffield area again. I'll have no hesitation in booking this wonderful hotel The food is so well presented and taste delicious. Stunning location, Lovely bar restaurant, Nice food with a good drinks choice, Nice comfortable rooms, Great breakfast, Staff are friendly and efficient. High quality Inn at a reasonable price for what you get. Definitely would recommend and would stay again when back in the area.

Perfect in every way.

Only stayed for one night on way home, wished was longer. Fabulous hotel in a lovely setting that would be a perfect base for local attractions. Staff very friendly and helpful, room great with gorgeous view and breakfast excellent. Arrived late but squeezed in a drink at bar...food menu looked good.

Really lovely garden and well designed interiors. Didn’t like those hangers in the wardrobe that are a fiddle to take out and replace in their security rings.

From check in to check out the staff were fantastic, great atmosphere. Lovely staff, clean warm and homely. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.

The hotel staff were so hospitable without being intrusive. The hotel was beautifully decorated, bed was quite comfortable and both restaurants were excellent. It is high on my list of places to return to again and again.

Had a great overnight stay. Lovely room with view on golf course. Nice to have bath with separate shower. Reception team very kind and helpful as were the staff in Roosters restaurant and the breakfast room. I took advantage of the nearby included gym and pool (12 min drive or the hotel also has a free bookable shuttle). All in all I was very impressed.

Lovely weekend, spotlessly clean room, friendly staff, amazing food, would definitely recommend!
