We loved the old world charm of the hotel. The beds were comfortable. The colourful tile in the bathroom and kitchen is very Costa Rican. The staff were excellent! So kind and attentive. We had two dinners and two breakfasts and enjoyed them all. The mature plants and palms on the property were incredible and the pool was large and clean. No complaints at all. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The staff was great and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The food was not very good. But the beach was beautiful! Right on the beach. Near the Limon airport.

This was an excellent hotel to stay at. We enjoyed the room and easy access to the beach. Breakfast was included and was fantastic each morning. Staff were very friendly and always available to assist. We loved spending time with the live in pup while we were there. Will be back soon!

Dream vacation at Wesfalia Limon.
Everything at Wesfalia was perfect! Food delicious, rooms are big, great beds. Staff super friendly, and always ready to help.

Flor and Raoul were the best! Fruits for breakfast would have been great. Coffee was weak. Near oceanfront. Grounds well kept. Transportation always needed to go into nearby town.

Relaxing Stay
Nice place with great staff. Was glad to be a bit out of Limon with a great home base for sight seeing. Enjoyed the peacefulness and had a good stay. We also enjoyed easy fresh cooked dinners at the end of the day.

Located right off beach. Beautiful garden walkway. Great pool. Room had it's own patio. Friendly staff and great dogs.Water pressure not good. AC only on when keycard is in room.

Property is ok - it looks nice but it is a bit dated. The area around the property is not great - so this property becomes a stand alone destination. The grounds are nice and so is the pool. It is certainly a solid mid range hotel

I DON'T USUALLY LEAVE REVIEWS BUT SINCE THE HOTEL DID NOT HAVE ANY YET THOUGHT I WOULD GET THEM STARTED. WESTFALIA IS A HIDDEN GEM. GREAT PIECE OF PROPERTY JUST OUTSIDE OF TOWN. RESTAURANT SERVES GREAT FOOD AND ALSO BEER AND COCKTAILS. ROOMS ARE VERY CLEAN, BED COMFORTABLE AND WATER HOT. NICE SITTING AREA OUTSIDE OF THE ROOM. WISH I COULD HAVE STAYED LONGER! SR

This is a great place. Very clean, beautiful pool and right on the beach. The food is good including the breakfast. It’s a good place if you have a car. Centrally located to all local activities.

The hotel is located conveniently close to the airport, away from the hustle, bustle and traffic of Limon. There is a large, secure parking lot. The reception and wait staff are polite, friendly and fun. Breakfasts are good. The hotel is located on the beach but also has a lovely pool. Rooms are large, good wifi and TV but no other amenities. No fridge, no coffee maker nor kettle, No toiletries in the bathroom.

Enjoyed our stay right on the beach. Seemed like we owned it. Could see no other lodgings from beach. Ate meals on grounds looking at the waves. Simple and comfortable accommodations for a reasonable price.

We’ve stayed here before pandemic, ocean view suite used to have refrigerator, small tv in second bedroom, and there was no muggy smell. Stayed same suite for this one day trip, as you walked in to room the smell was horrible, bedroom sheets, covers and towels had same smell, no refrigerator, no second tv for second bedroom. Pool looks clean but once inside all around top ring you can see signs of mold, slimy and obviously looks as bacteria building up. Beach area not clean, no chairs, everything closes by 7pm. Property has a for sale sign so looks as if they are getting maybe rid of everything to sell property. Overall was not happy this time.

Perfect overnite near the airport
We had a wonderful stay. Unfortunately it was only one night as we were traveling the next morning from Limon airport. The place was beautiful, relaxing and clean. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The pool was clean and refreshing and the beach is just steps away.

Delightful small hotel with fantastic beach and pool. Included breakfast was great. Room and facilities were neat and clean. Hospitality was wonderful. If you are looking for a quiet, friendly, place to chill for a couple of days you can't do better. Excellent value.

I was so looking forward to go to Limon but I was disappointed with the service at this hotel. Hotel needs a full on upgrade. I got in later than the check in and even though the hotel had just a hand full of guests they were not prepared. Got a nice room but the door was faulty would not close or open. It took 3 hours for the handyman to decide that he cannot fix it. I was moved to another room. About the breakfast it was terrible. Don’t eat it. I got out of there so fast.

Great hospitality!
The owner is incredibly sweet and helpful. She even gave me a beach mat knowing I was headed towards Cahuita. Food was really good, both breakfast and dinner. You can't beat being right there against the waves.
