The Windmill
10/10 Excellent
"A hotel, with a pub, NOT the other way around ! Locals drop in and not the usual plastic Corporate you normally experience. Yes, it is limited as they don't provide food, but gauge your expectations to the location and price ! Rooms are big ! Car park is big (plus free overnight Market Square parking, if busy). Great selection of beers and the place is huge. Reception is massive. I can see why local Weddings like it, plus smack in the middle of Alford town. Would I stay again - Yes, actually, and I have stayed at quite a few hotels in my career. This place is just honest, simple, clean and relaxed. Plus, if you want a takeaway, they encourage you, unlike other hotels ! Enjoy"

Glebe Farm Apartments

"I had booked the apartment for 4 nights. When I arrived we were met by Steve who told us that I had been upgraded to a larger apartment. The apartment was clean if a bit dated. The kitchen had all the basic pots and pans and cutlery but it would have been nice to also have salt and pepper dispensers. The kitchen/diner/living room was large enough for 2 people and I was pleased that both the bathroom and bedroom were of a good size. The wi-fi was adequate but could have been faster if using 2+ devices. The TV was located in the kitchen part of the apartment which would make it difficult for 2 people to watch from the comfort of the sofa. The apartment is located in beautiful grounds with the fishing pond as the focal point. The apartment is located perfectly for easy access to sightseeing locations such as Lincoln, Gunby Hall, Walled Garden of Baumber, Whisby Nature Park and seasides such as Skegness."

"We stayed in the family room and it was perfect. Laid out so well for a family of 4, fresh and clean. Beautiful setting, lovely gardens, a pub on site. The reception staff were lovely and immediately made friends interacting with our young boys. We didnt sample any food but it smelt amazing. Would definitely recommend."
