"Exceptionally clean room, comfy beds, great choice at breakfast, good food and all staff helpful except the staff member helping with breakfast on Friday morning on the 25th September. I understand my grandson and l didn’t get down for breakfast till 8.45 and they finish serving at 9. However, the staff member kept giving us warning times, we could have been allowed 5 minutes to finish but we got a 4 minute warning, literally, and she made us feel very uncomfortable and was obviously saying it for our benefit. Otherwise a great stay and the reason we have given 4 stars, otherwise it would have been 5 stars. Thanks to everyone else who was lovely and very helpful. Diane and Paul."

"Wonderful stay at this thriving venue for a baby shower. Rooms are in stable style blocks, it is a wedding venue so if you weren’t attending the wedding you may find it noisy, we enjoyed the excitement & music. Food was lovely (afternoon tea) huge selection of cakes. Breakfast selection was amazing. Staff were excellent, very friendly & caring. Reception lady a credit to the venue. Stunning venue with a busy pub & restaurant attached. Would love to return again."

"Stayed here for 2 nights. Clean, spacious room with comfortable bed. Cleaned daily. Breakfast very tasty. Staff extremely helpful. The only downside for us was the water fountain on the lake. It doesn’t look spectacular, but it’s loud and annoying. Without it, it would be so peacefully quiet. We didn’t use the spa facilities, but it even without it, it was amazing stay."

"Stayed at the weekend Friday to Monday and brought the pooch with me.Great hosts - Barbara came to let me in though i was slightly earlier than expected. Really clean accommodation and lovely location only 15 mins from Cleethorpes.Really lovely and quiet even the wildlife are quiet on a night time.Fished the larger lake which was great - loads of pegs to fish fromif you want to take the dog to the beach go to humberston fitties and park in the yacht club as its free parking. Then try Cleethorpes country park for a good walk around and the pooch can have a swim.Really cant fault the place - remote and quiet"
