"I would like to write that the experience was awful, so that it won't become the hottest hotel in town. I use it once or twice a year for staycations. The deli 10 meters away makes the best sandwhiches in SF. The French restaurant around the corner on Baker. never fails. The staff, the food, it's an outstanding experience. Walk up the Lyon Street steps after dinner!"
"Excellent location, easily walkable to all the places we wanted to visit. Felt safe and easy parking. We were concerned our car may have been over height, there is a 6ft limit but we got in fine. However you can also use the parking in the hotel opposite which has a greater height allowance. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean, bright and had everything you could need. Breakfast was good but extremely busy, we had to queue for approx 25 mins one morning as we came down a little later.

"I cannot emphasize enough the customer service and hospitality of this staff. I watched managers step in with rushes and friendly check-ins with guests if they appeared to be lost or looking for something. Found the rooms were clean and AC worked amazing! Parking is on-site and enclosed, so felt very safe with my car.

"The place was perfect for a home base during Outside Lands. There was plenty of street parking in addition to being able to park in the garage. Place was clean and bed was very comfortable. This is a basement apartment below other living quarters and we were pleased with the insulation/minimal noise from above. Communication with host leading up to and during stay was great. We would stay here again if/when we are visiting SF. Howard was very welcoming and gave great recommendations of places within walking distance. "
"Love the vintage decor and style of the historic building. The made-to-order breakfast was phenomenal and tasty! They always had tea, coffee, and great snack options available at all hours. Not too many things to do in a walkable distance but we found it easy to walk to the Target nearby and a neighborhood bar."
