"The hotel was under construction. The TV worked for 2 hours. The shower was broken. The hotel was not clean. I smelled cigarette and marijuana on my floor. There was no additional lock on the door. I did not feel safe there. I will be asking for a refund."

"There was a MOUSE in my room! I saw it several times as I decided to leave the light on for the rest of the night. It was late at night so I didn't inform the front desk until the next morning - changing rooms will not correct an infestation problem and it was too late to change hotels. The front dest REFUSED to give me a refund. I stayed there on Thursday, April 30th, 2026. "

"The staff were friendly and I liked parking right in front of your room/train car. The mattresses were all uncomfortable- that’s my main complaint. There’s not a lot of space in the room but that is to be expected because it’s a train car. You go for the uniqueness of the stay not for the 5 star amenities. My kids loved watching the Strasburg railroad train go by. The restaurant there is pretty good and the servers were all excellent and friendly. You can see the train from the restaurant windows too. In the restaurant gift shop there is a model train you have to pay a dollar to run on the ceiling and my son really enjoyed that. There is a little petting zoo out front that you can put a quarter in to get some food and feed the alpacas, donkey, and goats. We enjoyed our stay and will likely return. "

"The hotel was very nice. Our room was large and spacious. I really liked the layout of the room and felt the price was very reasonable. The info we received stated that housekeeping was not done on the weekends, which was fine. But I was expecting at least 1-2 times that our room would be refreshed during the week and it was not. We stayed Sat through Wed. Other than that, location was good. We would consider staying again."

"The hotel was pretty clean. Breakfast area was uninviting, you have to put down chairs yourself. It was suppose to be a non-smoking hotel but initial room we were in smelled like smoke. We had to request for a new room. Overall, it’s a budget friendly hotel with friendly staff."
