Ok so stayed here and thought wow this is nice but there were several things that did not match up to a 5 star hotel.
Positives: Nice staff and amazing spa treatments. The best treatments I have ever had!
If you want a quiet hotel then this is where you need to be. A little too quiet for me tho.
Good shuttle service into town and breakfast was ok. They brought you two small bottles of water every night.
Negatives: Rooms need a little upgrading and the fridge was not very cold.
Hotel decided to dig up our garden whilst we were there and caused a burst pipe, therefore we couldn't sit in the garden.
Cocktails quite expensive and no air con in the restaurant and bar.
They put a 10% service charge on everything you order at the hotel and be expected to pay a hefty tax bill when you leave as they don't tell you when you arrive.
Hotel a little far from old/new town.
shuttle bus was expensive to the airport and it is hard to prevent paying as you are in the middle of nowhere.
Reception staff are a little cold and need to work on their customer service skills.
Overall it was a nice experience but this is not a 5 star hotel so expect a little less.
If I stayed again I would stay in a hotel closer to town as everything is happening there.

I would like to draw your attention that you booked with expedia.com and in your booking confirmation, it is clearly written that you have to pay a city tax of 2,5 euros per person per night at check out (we don't need to tell you at check in). This tax is a touristique tax that you pay in any hotel all over the world and it goes, for Morocco, to our government to promote the tourism. For your information, our rooms are new as we renovate all our rooms in june 2016, so i don't understand your comment about upgrading our rooms (TV/DVD/mini bar, hair dryer, safe, wifi, bathrobes, amenities...). Regarding the 10% service charge, please note that it is done to avoid any tipping and it is shared equally for all the staff of the hotel, even those working in the back office and you never see. For your information, the 10% service charge concern only the extra not the room price. Also, of course we have A/C in all the hotel public area (bar, restaurant, reception, spa...).
Regarding the airport transfer, we use private Aircon cars at the rate of 20 euros per way for 2 people; it is cheaper than any taxi, who usually charge 25 euros.
We are very sorry for the fridge but as we are a 5 stars hotel, we have a maintenance team 24h/7days, you should have asked and it would have been replaced in 5 minutes (technical problems can happen:). Also, we are very sorry of any inconvenience caused by the gardeners. It took them only 30 minutes to maintain your private garden and with the heat, we had during your stay, they should water your grass. For your information, they did it for all the rooms and no one complain.
