VACANCES PARADISIAQUES

Posted 26-Jul-2016

Serene Tranquility

Perfect location away from the hustle and bustle of Marrekesh city, yet with a convenient free mini bus service into the city. Lovely friendly helpful staff, nothing's to much trouble, relaxing retreat, good quality free wifi, quiet and serene hotel.

More of a 4 star

Posted 23-Jul-2016
Ok so stayed here and thought wow this is nice but there were several things that did not match up to a 5 star hotel. Positives: Nice staff and amazing spa treatments. The best treatments I have ever had! If you want a quiet hotel then this is where you need to be. A little too quiet for me tho. Good shuttle service into town and breakfast was ok. They brought you two small bottles of water every night. Negatives: Rooms need a little upgrading and the fridge was not very cold. Hotel decided to dig up our garden whilst we were there and caused a burst pipe, therefore we couldn't sit in the garden. Cocktails quite expensive and no air con in the restaurant and bar. They put a 10% service charge on everything you order at the hotel and be expected to pay a hefty tax bill when you leave as they don't tell you when you arrive. Hotel a little far from old/new town. shuttle bus was expensive to the airport and it is hard to prevent paying as you are in the middle of nowhere. Reception staff are a little cold and need to work on their customer service skills. Overall it was a nice experience but this is not a 5 star hotel so expect a little less. If I stayed again I would stay in a hotel closer to town as everything is happening there.

Missing the hotel Already!

Posted 11-Jun-2016
I stayed at this hotel with my wife and 2 kids and we stayed at 119 the best room in the hotel with a private pool. It is not easy going on holiday with a year n half old kid but the Staff were fantastic, they were always on hand to help, on the first night my child wasnt well so the receptionist called a private doctor to my room and even collected the medicine for us. Thank you so much for that it really helped as she started getting better the next day so we could actually enjoy ourselves. Hotel was beautiful, so was the breakfast. We did ate a few times in the restaurant which was really tasty but abit pricey however you will not find the the quality and taste anywhere else. I will definitely come to stay again as we already miss the hotel!

Très bel hôtel

Posted 08-May-2016

Paradise!!

Posted 30-Apr-2016
From start to finish our stay at the Sirayane was simply amazing! We arrived late in the evening and were greeted by the nicest hotel manager I've ever met with some delicious Moroccan tea. He gave us a guided tour of the hotel and showed us to our room. We were very pleasantly surprised to find we'd been upgraded for free!! As we arrived at our room the porter was already there waiting for us with our bags! It is so peaceful!! A little bit of heaven just a 10-15 minute shuttle journey (provided by the hotel) from the hustle and bustle of the Medina. Even the owner of the Sirayane personally greeted us and made sure everything was perfect during our stay on more than one occasion. Which it most certainly was. I'd rate my stay even higher if I could! Keep doing what you're doing. Amazing 5 stars

Came here for our honeymoon. Every thing was spot on. We had an amazing time. Staff were amazing. Food was excellent. Hotel atmosphere was relaxing and nice. Not far from hotel or local market. The hamman was wonderful and we did not have to leave our hotel.

Nice Hotel but remote location

Posted 17-Apr-2016
Pros: Staff
Cons: Location, wider choice of food on the lunch and room service menu. More DVD's in english or wider choice of television with better reception.
Location: Nothing is nearby, need to get a taxi or the shuttle service to the medina
The hotel staff was very friendly and professional but for me the location was a bit remote as a first time visitor of Marrakesh. It would have been nice to be closer to some other restaurants and shopping without feeling compelled to go by taxi every time you needed to leave the hotel. There is nothing within walking distance to this hotel. Yes there is a shuttle service which runs around every 4 hours or so but sometimes you don't want to be stuck near the medina for that long waiting for a shuttle back. The dining choices were also a bit limited especially if you were eating frequently in the hotel. The twin beds in our rooms were a bit close together and with the overall dark modern decor left me feeling claustrophobic during my stay. It's a lovely hotel for any tourists who want to spend the whole day lying on a sunbed but not for those who want to discover the city or pursue other activities. Suitable for honeymooners rather than families with children.
