Oasis of tranquility

Posted 25-Dec-2017
Although being in the middle of nowehere (meaning there's nothing within walking distance), the Sirayane has super friendly staff, great food and accommodations. The bed was so comfortable that we overslept and unfortunately missed breakfast. There are free shuttles to/from the Medina but at specific times. A private taxi will cost you MAD220 each way, so it's better to plan ahead and stick to your schedule. The friendly owner came to greet us at our table during dinner and ask about our experience. Restaurant staff is well trained in wine service and can speak French and English fluently. If you're looking for a quiet high quality hotel with an excellent pool this is the place in Marrakech.

Lovely boutique hotel amazing staff

Posted 28-Nov-2017
We went to Marrakesh for a wedding and was recommended the hotel and it didn’t disappoint from beginning to end. We had a suite with private pool which was lovely only wish we had more time there to use it. The staff couldn’t do anymore for you. The owner was also around and always made an effort to say hello and chat with guests. There isn’t much around the hotel but they offer a shuttle bus to main square and if you want a quiet retreat it would be perfect. Would definitely recommend and come back.

Our Honeymoon - 8 days at The Sirayane Hotel

Posted 25-Nov-2017
Pros: The set up of the hotel and the fact that there was only 28 rooms/suites which meant that it was not over run with peripheral. It was so peaceful.
Cons: The variety available at the restaurant. The food was really nice but I felt it was quite expensive and I struggled to pick dishes.
Location: They hotel sits on its own so I wouldn’t suggest going for a walk as there is nothing nearby but Medina is only a 15min drive away
Myself and My Hsuband came here for our Honeymoon at the beginning of November 2017. Although we were not overly bothered about visiting Morocco as a country, we were extremely excited about getting the chance to stay in the Sirayane Boutique Hotel because of the suites it had to offer. We stayed in a Junior suite, with private heated pool and garden for a total of 8 days and had a wonderful time. Other then the. Hotel being completely luxury there were a number of aspects that made our trip even more special. We arrived at the Sirayane on a Wednesday afternoon to be greeted by their reception staff with an offering of traditional Moroccan tea and homemade biscuits. We were checked in by a colleague called Youseff who was wonderful, not only at check in but all throughout the holiday. He was personal, friendly, helpful and just so cheerful, it made me smile every time I saw him and he showed a genuine interest in us on every occasion. Also during check in, we was greeted by the owner of the Sirayane and welcomed to his hotel. I found this a very nice and professional touch to our stay. Throughout the whole holiday, the staff were nothing less then polite, courteous and literally couldn’t do enough for you. from the breakfast staff, all the way through to the dinner staff and what I loved was how personal the stay was, the staff would remember your face, your room number, your favourite table, and much more. We had a great stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Tranquil escape away from the madding crowd

Posted 20-Nov-2017
Pros: Peaceful and soooo quiet. Private garden and pool.
Cons: Maybe upgrade décor in room and replace broken mirror.
Location: Sunrise hot air Balloon flight was very enjoyable. Photographers Museum for rooftop lunch. Jardin Majorelle and new Yves St Laurent museum.
Very peaceful setting in lovely gardens. Quite remote with nothing within walking distance but only 15 mins by the free minibus to the city and this service was very prompt and reliable. Hotel staff were friendly and attentive. We had a junior suite with its own pool which we enjoyed. The room was comfortable and reasonably spacious but décor was a bit tired and there were a few imperfections. Found a dying cockroach on our floor ( but otherwise room was very clean) and the mirror was cracked and should really have been replaced. There were tea and coffee making facilities and each day we had fresh local biscuits. Also a fruit bowl and large bottle of water were there on arrival. Small bottles of water were provided each evening during the turn down service. Rose petals scattered in our bathroom on arrival were a nice touch too. Good buffet breakfast . We only ate in the restaurant on one of our 3 nights but the dinner was very good. We did not book airport transfers or trips with the hotel. we booked these with Expedia before leaving UK. The Hot Air balloon flight was well worth the 5.10 am pick uptime. Very enjoyable and well organised. We did not use the spa during our stay but certainly would have done had we stayed longer. Altogether a lovely break in a oasis of calm.
Comment from Hotel Management

Dear Guest, thank you for taking time to share your experience at Sirayane Boutique Hotel Spa. Thank you for all your good comment about our hotel, cleanliness, staff, food... For your information, the mirror has been cracked the day of your arrival by the guest who left the same day as your arrival. So be assured, that after your departure we had the room empty for one night so we replaced it. Also, it was not a dying cockroach but a black cricket who certainly entered from your private garden if you left the sliding door open. We are sorry for the inconvenience. We really hope to welcoming you again very soon. best regards, Mehdi BENNANI SMIRES

Wonderful boutique hotel

Posted 22-Sep-2017
Pros: Everything. Pool area is particularly stunning with plenty of (double) sunbeds.
Cons: Small things only. Satellite tv channels were intermittent at best and there could be a few more veggie options on the menu.
Location: Would recommend a trip to the Atlas Mountains and the waterfalls great . Also the Sky Bar at the Renaissance Hotel for a drink and the views.
A real gem of a place with beautiful grounds, very comfortable rooms and excellent, attentive staff. The Shuttle service is very good and needed, as the hotel is fairly isolated; although its not far from either the Medina or the Airport. Depends on your preference, but it was perfect for us to be slightly outside the city.

Excellent secluded hotel with amazing staff!

Posted 21-Sep-2017
The hotel is incredibly well looked after, the staff were always first class and attentive. The most appealing part was how peaceful the whole experience was; since it's a boutique hotel with only a handful of rooms, you were always given undivided attention by the staff and always had a seat by the pool. We booked quad biking and camel riding with the staff at reception which was reasonably priced and turned out to be an exceptionally fun day. I could not recommend this hotel enough

Truely relaxing holiday

Posted 08-Sep-2017
We had an excellent experience and a truely relaxing holiday. Upon arrival we were given a suite upgrade giving us our own private garden looking out onto the pool. The hotel staff were friendly and approachable and nothing was to much hassle. We ate in the restaurant a number of evenings and the food was always delicious with and excellent standard of service. I would certainly recommend to friends.
