On arrival it became clear that the apartment we stayed in wasn’t the one in the photos that I thought I had booked. The ad is a mix of different apartments with only a couple of them the one we were allocated which wasn’t to the standard I was expecting which was a shame as we’re celebrating an 18th birthday The 2 bathrooms transpired to be a communal area with 3 showers and 2 of the tiniest toilets ever Apartment was cold and we ended up lighting the gas burners and oven to get the room warm There were endless corridors to navigate which didn’t help with the heat issue The area was very rough with litter everywhere outside On a positive the towels and sheets were spotless with early check in and Kate check out

Great location, affordable apartment for a large group. Metro link directly outside the door to connect you to Newcastle. Apartment in great condition and would recommend this place. Check in was difficult as you need to communicate with host over phone to retrieve the code to access the key but apart from that it was great. Security deposit usually scares me from booking with places as i have been scammed before but rest assured there is no scamming here, with the host very kind when spoke on the phone.

The room was excellent, bed was so comfortable that we slept in on our 1st night, leaving only 1 and a half hours to get ready for a wedding we were going to. The bathroom was lovely, a large shower with rainfall head. Very deep bath that we used on 2nd day. A great menu and restaurants to choose from. The bar was so welcoming with a great whiskey selection for myself and cocktail selection my partner loved. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Our stay Matfen Hall was excellent and I highly recommend. We didn’t use the spa facilities this time but definitely will on our return. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay a pleasure

Lovely rooms and a good location.

Stayed at INNSiDE by Meliá Newcastle and it absolutely delivers. Prime Quayside location, slick modern rooms, and everything just works, clean, comfortable, and well thought out. The complimentary minibar is a nice touch and the river views are an absolute bonus. Service is spot on, friendly, efficient, no fuss. Food at Gino D’Acampo Newcastle is genuinely very good and rounded off my stay nicely. Simple: great hotel, no weak points, would 100% stay again.
