CORONA and flooding - SAFE due to location and separate entrance

This comfortable and low-maintenance ground-floor apartment with a separate entrance is located in the city centre. The Old Town, with its quaint half-timbered houses and the Frankhaus, is about a 3-minute walk away (city bus stop approximately 50 metres away). There you’ll find the market square and cosy restaurants, cafes, and ice cream shops. Butchers, bakeries, and supermarkets are within a radius of 300–500 m. The Wonnemar water park is only about 900 m away (unfortunately currently closed due to bankruptcy—there is a swimming pool in Lengfurt, 4 km away). There is a golf course, tennis, mini-golf, horseback riding, and fishing. Numerous hiking and biking trails—including guided routes—lead, for example, along the Main River, to the nearby swimming lake, into the beautiful Spessart region, and to the surrounding castles, fortresses, towns, and villages with their popular Franconian wine taverns and roadside inns. Short boat trips on the Main River are offered from Lohr, Miltenberg, Wertheim, and Würzburg. Furthermore, Marktheidenfeld is located in one of the driest regions in Germany.
There are two bedrooms—each with a double bed—and a living room with a double sofa bed. A baby cot (without linens) and a high chair can be provided upon request. TV and Wi-Fi, a stereo system, and a bright bathroom with a window, tub, and shower—hair dryer and separate toilet. The fully equipped kitchen features a cosy dining area, microwave, stove/oven, refrigerator with freezer, and a dishwasher—as well as a storage room. For relaxation and cosy or peaceful moments, there is a furnished terrace with an awning and a lawn for sunbathing out front. A parking space and a bike shed—with battery charging capabilities—are located in the courtyard behind the house. A washing machine/dryer is in the basement and can be used (for a fee of 2/4 €). All windows and doors are equipped with electric blinds—some with fly screens.

Towels and bed linens are provided. (So, aside from your personal items, everything is provided—if anything is missing, we’ll be happy to take care of it).
Upon request, we offer a shuttle service to the Frankfurt and Nuremberg airports, or to one of the nearby train stations (Aschaffenburg, Karlstadt, Lohr, Wertheim, Würzburg), as well as drop-off and pick-up trips during your stay. (Also available with bicycles)
