"We absolutely loved our stay! The resort was beautiful, exceptionally well maintained, and the views were incredible. The monkey trail was so much fun, and watching the monkeys was definitely one of our favorite parts. What really stood out was the staff. Every single person went out of their way to take personal care of us, and everyone was so knowledgeable and genuinely welcoming. By the time we left, it honestly felt like we were leaving friends behind. The food was amazing, too. We really didn’t have any reason to leave the resort to find a great meal—it had everything we needed right there. Most of all, we left with a true appreciation for the Pura Vida lifestyle. Relax, enjoy the beauty around you, and appreciate the people and experiences along the way. What an incredible Costa Rica experience! 🇨🇷🌴❤️ We will be back!!!"

"This is a beautiful open air screened in home way way up the mountains, in the clouds. If you’re looking for an all-inclusive “hoity-toity” resort, this is not for you. This is for those of us who love nature and the outdoors, and the chance to drive up the side of a rocky mountain road to reach it. Both sunrise and sunset are phenomenal here, with the birds, singing, and the rain falling softly. It is a perfect escape.The home is spacious and well maintained. The kitchen was easy to cook in and had plenty of pots, pans plates, etc. There was lots of room for our group of young people to spread out, play games, or have some quiet time.The beds were comfortable, and with the fans on we even got cold in the evenings.Deborah was the epitome of a perfect host, and combined with help from Jose, who took us on a horse ride to the waterfall, we felt extremely well cared for.We had exactly the experience we hoped for enjoying nature and everything that the beautiful mountain forest of Costa Rica have to offer."

And don’t be surprised if exotic birds and other wildlife stop by while you’re lounging poolside or enjoying a meal on the patio—it’s part of the magic.If you’re lucky, Saul will be there mixing drinks and cooking alongside Marta. We had several meals during our stay, and honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Every single meal was outstanding.Our room was very comfortable, and the HVAC was an absolute blessing after hot days exploring. The views are breathtaking—make sure you’re there for sunset overlooking the ocean and Marina Pez Vela. It’s the kind of view that makes you put your phone down and just stare.If you’re fishing out of Marina Pez Vela, this is a perfect place to stay. You can walk right to the marina, which is a huge plus. You’re also just a short drive to the towns of Quepos and Manuel Antonio, with easy access to Manuel Antonio National Park and the Nauyaca Waterfalls.Transportation is easy too—if you need a driver, Marta and Douglas can arrange everything. Or you can rent a car right down the hill at the marina; we used Alamo and they were great"
