The breakfast options are incredible, and some of the best food we ate on the trip. Our room was cleaned promptly every day and was left with a towel animal we looked forward to. The staff is super friendly and helpful, as we stopped in multiple times to ask questions. In my opinion, you could not have a better location! You are steps to the beach and the national park. Anywhere else in Manuel Antonio would definitely require a car, but we got everything we wanted right outside the hotel! We are so excited to return! We did the horseback waterfall tour, and it completely blew our minds. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable, and the whole experience felt authentic and unforgettable. And the food… wow. The complimentary breakfast was the best we’ve had in all of Costa Rica, and we’ve been here for six weeks! Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We originally booked 5 nights at Layan but ended up staying 10 because they truly spoiled us. The hotel is also spotlessly clean and beds are super comfortable which made the experience even more fantastic. Layan Hotel exceeded every expectation.
