We got a small economy room which had a/c and a ceiling fan. It was cleaned very well daily. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was fresh and a la carte every morning. The pool was beautiful. The staff was friendly. The guys that drove the golf cart to take you to and from your room were great! the rooms were straight up the mountain. Very steep path or 80 steps! We enjoyed the very limited free breakfast with the monkeys running along the power. The food was average. The room was nice. The bed mattress was horrible. Wash cloths were not provided. Coffee was not supplied. 2.50 for a 3 cup pouch at reception. Was it nice? Yes. Would I stay again? It is what could be expected in a country like Costa Rica, but the photos send a different vibe. The rooms are exposed to a main road with lots of 24/7 traffic which means sleep interruption. I would not reconsider staying there again. Fui a pedir toalla de playa y me la dieron mojada. Pagamos una cifra muy elevada por un lugar que debería vale 4 veces menos. Cuando pensabas que nada podía ser peor te llega el momento del desayuno que sorprende por su acotada cantidad 1 porción d e lo que elijas y listo. Las fotos son muy engañosas, no reflejan la realidad.
