Keyz Style 3BR/3B Heated Pool, 50' ft dock w/ deep access to Atlantic and Gulf



  • Bring your boat to this 3 bedroom / 3 bath recently updated home with 50 ft of deep water dockage and a custom HEATED swimming pool (small pool is not heated). House will comfortably sleep 8 with 1 king bed, 2 queens and two sleeper sofas. Each bedroom has it's own private attached bathroom. You will love waking up or relaxing on the water as the only thing that separates the house from the water is the dock. Master suite has been completely updated with new tile, finishes and standing tub. Boot Key harbor is only 3 houses down the canal. The home is very peaceful and has very private tropical spa like pool in the front with a beautiful flagstone wall. You will instantly feel on vacation as you sit by the pool, kayak or paddle board in the harbor, fish in the canal, go for a bike ride, or take the short 3.5 mile drive to Sombrero beach. We are also minutes from 7 mile bridge if you want to visit Bahia Honda park or take the short 45-50 minute drive to Key West. Sorry no RV parking but plenty of space for a trailer, truck and a mini-van. There are no bridges and no limits to open water based on low tide. Added bonus we have never had a build up of sea grass anywhere near the house since 2011!

    Please call or e-mail me if you have additional questions. (I usually respond within the hour). Please notice the water outside of the sliding glass doors in both the family room and the bedroom. You are literally right on the water! We catch jacks, mangrove snappers, chubs, barracudas and grunts off the dock for a quick lunch and the pelicans and herons always join you when you are cleaning fish on the fish cleaning station. There is a fishing kayak, a ocean kayak, a 2 man ocean kayak, 2 paddle boards and 4 bicycles included with the rental. The heated spa like pool located in the front of the house is awesome with a bench running the length of it and a separate smaller pool that is great if you want to get away from the splashing kids. All new furniture, AC unit downstairs.

    Saturday to Saturday rentals only from January - August. Please email me if you are looking for alternative dates in September through December.

The heated pool, while small, was absolutely wonderful! Lots of sun throughout the day, yet the patio table had shade where we enjoyed our lunches. Very nice accommodations and very convenient with a private bathroom for each of 3 bedrooms. Saw 2 manatees off the dock.

This house was amazing! Our host David was very welcoming and informative and checked in to make sure everything was great! We had a small issue and I contacted David and it was taken care of immediately with sincere apologies. The house had everything you could ask for … including manatees that we enjoyed off the 50 ft dock in the back of the house. We had the bedroom facing the water and was a joy waking up every morning! Beautiful bedrooms and the bathrooms! We hope to return next year!

This place was amazing! Enjoyed our entire week! Marathon gives you many options for restaurants and grocery stores. Short drive(about an hour) for day trip to Key West! We enjoyed morning coffee on back dock, pool time early afternoon and back to the dock for late afternoons! Owner was super helpful with questions we had!

The property was nice. Loved being on the water. Plenty of room for 3 couples. Enjoyed seeing the manatees in the water a few days. Only complaint was lack of essentials like garbage bags and toliet paper. We had 2 garbage bags for a week and 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom.

Excellent relaxating retreat from the cold

We enjoyed the private pool most of our trip. The highlight for me was the manatees that were in the channel every day! The beds are comfortable, the water pressure good, the locale was ideal and the roosters we the ideal alarm clock. We used the 2 person kayak most days. Dave responded any time we had a question.

Beautiful 3 bedroom, 3 bath house. 2 living rooms, full kitchen, dinning room, inground pool with easy access canal docking for boat. Owner put some thought into this place as a rental. Kyaks, paddle boards and bikes to use. Super quiet at night and the neighbors are really decent.

Our "Framily" (friends & family) had the absolute best vacation last week! The house and pool were very clean. The house was equipped with everything that we needed and more. The property is very convenient to many restaurants, beaches, shops, grocery stores, etc. We loved fishing off the dock, nightly pool time, and enjoyed the beaches and things to do nearby! I didn't know there were so many chickens in the FL Keys, but we loved them! David was wonderful to work with and quick to answer any questions we had! Would defiantly recommend!

Vacation Dream

Loved this house! Pictures compared to in person experience was very close in comparison. All 3 rooms were spacious and comfortable as well as bathrooms. We enjoyed all parts of the home, the pool was excellent in size and temperature, my kiddos even learned how to swim, barbecue area was very convenient, and dock was great for relaxing and seeing manatees pass by. We didn’t bring a boat but the dock was big, my husband fished everyday off the 7 mile bridge and used the cleaning station which was very convenient. We had an excellent time and wish we could have stayed longer! The host was readily available and answered all my questions while at the property and always helped me with my concerns.

Good stay, bad winds for fishing

Stayed with a group of older guys for fishing. David was very responsive to the few questions we had. Best of all, he delayed the cleaners coming in, so we could leave at our leisure on Saturday which was greatly appreciated. Dock had everything needed, fishing cleaning table; water, even a little float to launch provided kayaks. Kitchen had everything needed. Brand new grill outside. Beds were comfortable, plenty of seating in various places throughout the house. The only negative was 20+ winds all week. So we were forced to relax more, which was okay for some of us. Thanks David, hope to rent there again.

Wonderful for our multigenerational family

The property is spacious and nicely decorated. The appliances and fixtures were top of the line. I wish I had those bathrooms at home and the refrigerator amazed everyone! The pool seemed to be in use all the time. We saw manatees from our dock daily. We caught a variety of fish from the dock, too. The only thing that was bad for our group was the height of the dock. My dad is 81 and couldn’t get down into the boat unless close to high tide. The ladder is not sturdy and the area is very tidal. This would not be a problem for most groups who travel though. We really loved the property. One other thing to note is that being located behind Boot Key makes it a no wake zone for 15+ minutes until you are in open water. Sombrero Beach is right at the end of the no wake if you go left and 7 Mile is right there if you go right. It is an awesome fishing location.

Upon arrival we realized the house did not contain basic supplies needed to meet the requirements of checkout and quality of stay for the price. There was no toilet paper, trash bags, spray cleaner, (so we purchased all for our stay), and most of the remotes did not have batteries. There were 8 bath towels for 8 people. When I reached out to David he was quick to respond, and someone dropped off more towels the next day. Nothing else was addressed. We changed the air filter that was so caked with dust and dirt. Many of the curtains, and fixtures such as bath faucet and toilet paper holder were falling off the wall. One bath tub had half a glass door and the curtain had to be rigged to keep from leaking water out while showering. The front yard had multiple trash cans and an old toilet sitting for pickup. We placed the trashcans on the road line for pickup per instructions and the toilet was still there when we left. I do not feel new renters should be dealing with previous renters trash. The location and neighbors were nice and the house had nice amenities such as dock, and pool. Overall we had a pleasant experience but there is some work to be done as well as management issues for the price paid.
