"This hotel has many facilities for seminars and small conferences which give it a pleasant campus feeling. Admirers of mid-Century design will appreciate its classic style. Breakfast was almost too delicious -- requires good willpower not to eat too much. Quiet location set back from street but still convenient to transportation. The restaurant is not open at lunchtime and the nearest restaurants are a kilometer away. Dinner was very good. The local museums rival London and Paris for the quality of exhibitions, but are not crowded or expensive."

"The Station is a mere 3-4 minute walk from the Mannheim Hauptbahnhof, so it is conveniently. I opted for a slightly bigger room this time and was not disappointed as it had the "Hairspray" theme (yes, the John Waters movie). Since I was on the back, it was super-quiet and rather spacious. My only complaint was no fridge, but then again, Mannheim was so cold that the water and wine bottles on the window ledge stayed perfectly cold. Nice wine bar and good selection of local wines. I will definitely stay there again."
