Do not book this property, still waiting for refund

I booked and prepaid for a property through Vrbo, only to be met with **complete silence** from the host. They didn't respond to any of my messages and gave no instructions on how to access the property. I had to get Vrbo customer service involved, and even then, I had to book a hotel on the day of just to have a place to stay. **Unbelievable**. I am still waiting for a full refund of the prepayment, and I am beyond frustrated with this whole experience. **Do not book with this property**.

apartment rented to someone else

wouldn"t know how the apartment was cause the owner rented it to someone else before i arrival . VRBO took my money but theydid nothing to help i was basically robbed by the Renter and vrbo still haven"t received my money backits been weeks . I will never use VRBO again they did nothing for me. and Thankfully with no help or money back from VRBO after a 42 hour flight i was able to find another place but i had to pay again
