Recommend here for an easy Manchester stop-over.
Great welcome and excellent location! It is short of full marks for a couple of reasons, like there was some renovation going on, there was only one plugpoint and it was near the door, away from the dressing table, and the curtains weren't quite long enough for the window. Saying this, it was a really comfortable stay and the staff were great. The room was clean and we had everything we needed. It was fairly quiet as well, especially considering location. I would stay here again.

The small double room wasn’t worthy of the £120 we spent, unfortunately we had to go Manchester on a busy weekend and was left with not a lot of a choice when it came to hotels. The hotel is a great location and the staff were friendly but the room was rather small and there was what looked like greasy footprints above the bed on the wall ( god know what someone must of been doing to get up there lol, room 35 btw). This hotel would be fine for if your just going out to get drunk and need a bed to sleep on and a ok shower but not if your after a bit of luxury.

The location is excellent, five minutes walk from anything; I'd imagine over the weekend it would get quite loud, thankfully, we were staying during the middle of the week. It's a nondescript front, tucked between a hotpot place and a bar, to my recollection. The staff were kind and seemed welcoming, however upon leaving reception and taking the stairs (we were not shown the way to a lift) we noticed the staircase in a poor state. The wall paint was flaking in some parts and there were patches of discolouration in some spots. When we found our room, it was right next to a large cleaning trolley that seemed to be permanently stationed in front of the lift (I'd assume out of order or else it's an awful fire hazard) as it was still there on each occasion we left/returned to our room. The room itself was small and a little cramped. There were some scuffs and cracks in the wall, one of the latches on the window was broken so I couldn't immediately shut the window when we came in. The TV had a thick level of dust on it. There was dust and dirt on the floor of the bathroom, so I was not overly happy with the state of the room. I was disappointed with this overall, having paid £70 for the room I don't think it was worth the price; I would think twice about booking here again.

My main problem with the room was that it is massively overpriced. You can get a much cheaper room in a better condition in nearby hotels. There are no breakfast facilities in the hotel. I was directed to two nearby places but they only opened after 9am.

Perfect Location. Great Value for Money.
The location just could not be better. It's in the heart of the Village; 3 minutes walk from Piccadilly Station and 5 from town centre (for me). The room was very clean and everything worked well. Very professional and friendly team too. However, not very flexible policies: I arrived at 7AM from HK but was told that no way I could check in earlier than 2PM. It was also a straight, absolute "NO" to my request for a "lat-er check-out" unless I paid. Overall, it's great value for money and i will stay there again if return to MAN. To those who are concerned about noise, it's actually not bad at all. I could hear a little bit of music at night, but all went quiet after 11PM - at least on all those 3 nights I stayed.

Very nice, much improved from the first time I stayed at Le Ville a few years ago. The room was a bit cold but that's easily remedied with the big quilt. Couldn't connect to the wifi but wasn't really bothered, it was only an overnight stay and I was out all night dancing.

Could hear everything outside the room - people walking and talking outside the hallway at all hours. No elevator - stairs for luggage - had to maneuver around bags of dirty laundry and garbage from the cleaning people. First room the door wouldn’t lock, second room was better.

Great customer service !!!
At the start there was abit if a mix up in giving the same room, but the guy behind reception was new and resolved the situation quickly and offered us a free drink for the mishap. Staff are friendly and rooms are good for the price !

Very poor quality in all aspects Hotel and room stinks as if you are sleeping in a kitchen. Very noisy: no isulation whatsover inside and not to mention tou hear all noise from canal st till morning!

Stayed here a few times, it’s not the best but that is reflected in the price. For the money it was fine and well worth it. One important thing to bare in mind is that it’s located on canal street which is great if your going for a night out as it’s a busy street with a lot of bars and clubs so can be quite noisy.

Average hotel - ok if you get a sub £40 room...
Hotel does what it says on the tin. Be warned of requirment to provide a deposit on arrival - seems they have an issue with people trashing their rooms. Very noisy room due to location on Canal Street. Heating is controlled by the receptionist, so if your room is cold or warm you have to leave your room and ask reception to change it

Hi 👋 guys OK 👌 it’s a nice Hotel and I go back again the people at the reception are very helpful and happy one problem the cleaners. don’t clean☹️ the room. Finish at 1:30 PM I leave my room at 12 PM I come back in the evening no towels floor very dirty no milk no coffee no sugar I have to go to the reception and ask for it 😠 So can you speak to the manager and asked to get the cleaners to do the job better thanks

Not recommmended for business users!
Late decision to Manchester meant that a lot of hotels were either fully booked or pricey so booked “Le Ville”. Wasn’t aware at time of booking the area it was in was full of bars and clubs , so partially my fault when. When I checked in I was told that there would be no problems with noise from the street and that the room would be quiet, especially as it was midweek. Not the case! My room was at front of hotel in basement. Noise from evening revellers prevented a lot of sleep, even for midweek. Mentioned this to the receptionist on checking out who was very dismissive of this because “no one else had complained”. Good convenient hotel if there for pleasure or night out but not if staying for business
