What a beautiful property! Time stands still here in this resort and cozy charming town. The rooms are clean, comfortable. The grounds are beautiful with the well maintained gardens full of plants and fragrant flowers. The restaurant serves delicious food, staff friendly and helpful . The island is worth exploring but once you arrive at this hotel, you just want to spend your days here .

Premium Hotel of the Aeolian Islands

This is the best hotel we've stayed in anywhere. The room was spacious, cooled, humidified, and beautifully furnished. The staff is, without exception, skilled, devoted, and attentive to all needs. Our room was surrounded by a gorgeous garden. The infinity pool is wonderful. Breakfast is at a reasonable cost [first one is free] and the drinks at happy hour are excellent. The staff said that improvements are scheduled for this winter which include two new rooms and some infrastructure changes to the garden path. If you go to the Aeolian Islands, stay here!

Heaven, simply just heaven! The minute we walked in hotel Ravesi, we felt like we wanted to stay forever! The reception we received from Nadia was so heartwarming, it felt like meeting a friend. Within 5 minutes we decided we wanted to stay a second night and Nadia found a way to make it happen for us. The hotel grounds are gorgeous, the rooms are super comfortable, the showers are amazing, the cocktails, the food… everything is perfection. And then you've got the pool, with that view… just spectacular!! But most of all, the staff are the heart of the hotel. Take the boat tour offered by the hotel, it is such a treat. Michael was a wonderful captain and tour guide, we loved every minute of it. If you're looking to stay on Salina, you must book Hotel Ravesi.

A really nice, boutique family run hotel. The hotel was great, with amazing views, run to a very high standard. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends. My Salina Island experience overall was excellent.

Brilliant - best hotel ever?

Pretty convinced this is the best hotel on the island. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. The seaside view, the spectacular service, the infinity pool, the delicious food, and the magical qualities of the property are just unbeatable. If you want a magical low key vacation, this is the place to go. You can’t find a better, more dedicated staff that serves from the heart.

Review from solo, female non-white American: the views, gardens, history, and the pride that the people who work there take in all of that are the biggest perks. Great location too and bottom line I’d go back. Cons (I’m being picky because it’s pricey, so service should match): The breakfast buffet was very awkward. I don’t know if it’s because I’m a single woman or because I arrived late but though it’s advertised as a buffet, a man was standing there who helped me plate everything. It was very odd. I had to tell him each and everything I wanted and he would arrange separate plates for me. Either be a table service or be a buffet, you can’t try to be both. It was very strange and made me very uncomfortable. The infinity pool is beautiful but NOT warm as promised. It is as cold as any regular pool is. I would recommend that they have somebody clean the pool because there were lots of leaves and bugs on top of the pool. Either get a better filter system or have somebody skim the pool frequently. The shower was the smallest shower I have ever had in my entire life.

Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel Ravesi auf Salina war das absolute Highlight unserer Sizilien-Rundreise – kein anderes Hotel hat uns so begeistert. Die gesamte Anlage ist wunderschön, extrem gepflegt und strahlt sofort Ruhe und Wohlfühlatmosphäre aus. Besonders außergewöhnlich ist aber das Team: unglaublich aufmerksam, herzlich und mitdenkenden. Ein schönes Beispiel: Der Zimmerservice bemerkte, dass unsere Kofferbank zu klein war, und brachte uns ungefragt eine zweite vorbei. Genau solche Details machen echten Spitzenservice aus. Ein weiteres Highlight war das Wine Tasting mit Gabriele. Die Weinauswahl, das Food Pairing und die Leidenschaft dahinter waren einfach großartig. Auch der Poolbereich war trotz vieler Gäste immer entspannt, und man bekam jederzeit problemlos eine Liege. Besonders gefreut hat uns, dass wir spontan das Frühstück testen durften. Die hausgemachten Marmeladen der Chefin sind fantastisch, das gesamte Buffet war hochwertig und liebevoll angerichtet. Hätten wir unsere Wanderungen anders geplant, hätten wir dort jeden Morgen gefrühstückt. Auch organisatorisch war das Team extrem hilfsbereit, z. B. bei der Taxi-Organisation oder der Möglichkeit, Fahrten mit anderen Gästen zu teilen. Kleine Kritikpunkte: Die E-Bikes fanden wir mit 40 € pro Tag etwas teuer und nicht mehr ganz modern. Außerdem sind Speisen und Getränke im Hotel preislich höher als auf der restlichen Insel – angesichts des Services aber nachvollziehbar. Der Check-out um 10 Uhr war auch recht früh.

My husband and I visited Hotel Ravesi for our honeymoon. The hotel went above and beyond to make our trip special. The rooms are all unique and the property is stunning. The breakfast, apperitivo, and cocktails were all so special - the food served is divine and the cocktails are all so delicious. We tried as many as we could during our stay! We cannot recommend this hotel enough, it is in the perfect location and the staff is extremely helpful and accommodating.
