This is a perfect choice for adults seeking a quiet getaway with more privacy and a personal touch, especially for travelers who prefer an alternative to the massive all inclusive resorts or Jamaicans seeking a lovely staycation. "The facility is isolated on a hill and challenging to get there. The roads are poor. These issues are not the fault of the hotel but the hotel did not do much to compensare for these negatives. We seemed to be the only guest there but they were not very helpful and not very accomodation as I would expect. The upstairs were we stayed smelt mouldy.It had a bad mouldly smell. We ask if we could go downstair, but the attendant stated that they have 2 rooms and would cost more. Other issues, the washroom faucette was not working, ie no water came out came. Additionally, the water pressure in the tub was very low. We ask about these 3 times and he said that they were working on it. He told us that it should be fixed once when we returned from dinner. Three hrs later we returned and the water issues were not resolved. The AC ran continuously without the ability to turn it off and make changes. The TV and internet were all not non-functionally. Given all these malfunctions and lack of help by the staff, we simply checked after a few hours at 9pm and drove all the way to my brother's house in Portmore. "

"I rarely write reviews, but future guests considering this hotel in Ocho Rios should know what we experienced. We stayed here during a Christmas holiday vacation, but it became one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had. During our stay, the hotel shut off the water to the entire property — not low pressure, but no running water at all. That meant no showers, no sinks. What made this even worse was that the hotel never warned guests this would happen. There was no notice or communication. At the same time, the hotel WiFi did not work for our entire stay. For international travelers staying in Ocho Rios, reliable internet is a basic necessity, yet this hotel could not provide it. When we tried to speak with hotel staff and cancel the remainder of our stay due to the lack of basic utilities, no attendants were available to help us. The security on property could only help to their extent. Office staff were completely unavailable when we needed assistance over the holidays. Afterwards, the hotel blamed a recent hurricane. However, we stayed at other hotels in Jamaica during the same trip where both water and WiFi worked perfectly. At no point before or during check-in did this hotel communicate that these services would not be available. The hotel has also refused to offer compensation or respond to calls about a refund. No water. No WiFi. No communication. Extremely disappointing for a hotel stay during the holiday when guests are paying premium rates."
