"It's located up on a hill in a very isolated area. It was a bit scary. There was nothing in the bathroom, no shampoo, no shower gel, no soap. The room had only the beds; there was nothing to put anything on. The structure was too basic! I wouldn't stay here again."

"My only hiccup was calling to confirm my reservation on the day before travelling up the hill - the first staff member was unable to confirm my reservation on the first attempt after I provided name but after calling the central office I was called back and informed that I was actually confirmed but was initially told I wasn't due to me saying I booked a suite vs a cottage, providing my name or confirmation number was not sufficient it seems. Upon arrival, everything about the property was excellent - great food, environment and service."

"I stayed one night at RafJam with my mom. The property was gorgeous! There was a steam flowing through the side and rear or the property and had a cool dripping area and two mini falls. The sound of the stream, birds and beautiful flora and fauna was accident perfect for the relaxing trip we were looking for.
We pre ordered dinner and breakfast was served. Both delicious.
The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and exceeded my expectations in this area.

I would absolutely stay here again but LONGER and recommend to anyone looking for something off the beaten path.
Finding the place was a bit difficult and would recommend a call to the property before heading out and getting additional directions. There was also construction when we visited but that didn’t interrupt our trip.

The design of the common areas was lively and the rooms' decor were lovely. We were also pleasantly surprised when the "continental" breakfast turned out to be a full jamaican breakfast. It is NOT close to the actual city. I would NOT use a rental car to commute there. Use a cab or Uber only. It costs about 10-15 dollars (US) each way to the Half Tree area and a little more for other popular sites.
