It is worth a trip through the national park. I preferred the south to the north of the island. Excellent diving in the south. For overall beauty it does not quite measure up to Praslin.

"Lovely property but the food & drink is very overpriced and it needs an adults only pool, we couldnt use the pool as there were always 20 children in it shouting all day. As you can only swim in the sea at high tide this was a problem for us."

Laid back island with beautiful beaches and friendly people, easy to get around using local busses, self catering option is good to keep the cost of the trip down as eating out can be expensive !

Not easy to travel around the island without the help of local taxis because of narrow roads and poor infrastructure

It’s beautiful! Victoria is small and friendly. Make time to see the views from the mission house and the tropical forest you drive through to get there. If you can, take the boat trip to Praslin and La Digue islands too, as both are stunning.
