One of the most famous theme parks in the world offers a land of fun and fantasy at the foot of a fairytale castle.
The first of the Florida-based theme parks, the Magic Kingdom® Theme Park is still central to most Orlando vacations. Six fantasy lands across 107 acres (43 hectares), morning-through-night entertainment and animatronic Disney characters all help to create an unforgettable experience for the entire family. Magic Kingdom® Theme Park was created from the vision of Walt Disney and opened in 1971.
Getting to Magic Kingdom® Theme Park is a fun ride in itself on a rapid monorail that makes stops throughout the park, including the main entrance, resort hotels and the different theme parks. Buses are also available, as well as the scenic Staten Island-inspired ferry, specifically built to transport visitors over the Seven Seas Lagoon.
Magic Kingdom® Theme Park is where childhood fantasies are brought to life. Cowboys strut in front of faded saloons in Frontierland® Area, wondrous creatures parade in the medieval Fantasyland® Area and the American Revolution is relived in colonial Liberty Square Area. Explore the jungles of the pirate-inspired Adventureland® Area, feel the speed of intergalactic travel in the Tomorrowland
