The rest of the staff were all extremely kind and wonderful, but there was just one staff member whose attitude seemed to change depending on the guest, which was a bit disappointing. The room, the overall atmosphere, and everyone else on the staff were wonderful.

This place was great, we were in Madrid during a heat wave and we were very thankful for a a/c that worked. This place is also in a great location of the city center. Easy to get to by subway or public transportation. Staff was extremely helpful!!

The AC was great especially compared to other hostels in Spain, the facilities are consistently cleaned, and overall the place is nice and the location is great! Showers are on a timed water spout which was a teeny annoying but that’s about it as far as downsides.

The location is great, just about ten mins walk to the Plaza Mayor and Sol station shopping area and easily accessible to other major attractions like the Retiro park, Gran Via street and Royal palace by foot or subway. There are a hundred cafes and restaurants around to choose from. It was clean and the toilets and showers in the shared bathrooms feel private (the dividers go almost all the way down to the floor) and the ac in the private bunk bed room we stayed in worked fine. Only complaint is you hear ppl talking in the hallway and the doors slamming at night and at 7am..

Absolutely loved this hostel! The receptionist let us in our room early so we didn't have to carry our luggage around and the room was super clean, the beds were comfy, and decent size room for me, my husband and my son. Highly recommend
