Absolutely Lovely Family Run Boutique Hotel The family are lovely and could not be more helpful! Jo,Pete and Sally made us feel so welcome from greeting us on our arrival to organising a lovely breakfast! The location has stunning views over the surrounding countryside with the mountains framing the picture ! Beautiful!

Superb little boutique lodge. Staff can't do enough for you. Very comfortable room with garden and a fantastic view. Big bathroom. Food excellent - even a packed lunch - laundry done (at cost). Best hotel of our trip so far. It will take some beating. If you're on a road trip across the east side of the South Island and looking to break the journey consider a stop here. Flights to the glacier from Mt Cook airport, hiking, dark sky area. Beautiful views.

The accommodation was as good as anything we have found in NZ but it sits in a location you could hardly dream of. The bluest lake and the mountain backdrops are too good to be real and after you take a flight over mount cook there seems no way to raise your expectation it will ever be better than this.

Friendly staff. Vicky was brilliant and checked us in efficiently. She also gave us tips on local excursions and helped us booking.Rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. Will stay here again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful we would definitely stay there again

Great location, great view, lovely staff and good breakfast choices nothing to dislike about it.

We only stayed for a stopover and couldn’t fault it. Excellent location for the town. Easy drive to Mt Cook glorious scenery.

We received a very warm welcome from Megan and her team. In the evening we ate in the hotel's restaurant. We chose the lamb shanks (delicious) and the panna cotta dessert. We had a breakfast of croissants, coffee, fruit juice and cooked items from the buffet. Our checkout was friendly and efficient.

Great hotel and great location - really fantastic place.

Maori greeting cool drink and luggage wisked away to our room, valet parking and a oasis of clam. Loved the food ambience and relaxed staff so helpful and genuine. We had massages in the spa very professional and impressive Only down a few fly bites no complaints at all, would defiantly stay again and recommend

The people here are incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable of the area, the hotel itself is lovely too, would highly recommend.

Restaurant wasn’t open for breakfast but there was a pub for an evening meal and breakfast available across the road so all very convenient. Lovely clean and comfortable room.

Convenient location, very clean and a very comfortable bed. A nice touch to provide fresh milk in the fridge for use with the tea and coffee provided. The shower gel, shampoo etc. were also really good quality! I arrived on a rainy, overcast day, after a long motorcycle ride, so it was great to find the room toasty warm!
