The El Bahira Camping Village resort is located on the northwestern coast of Sicily near San Vito Lo Capo. Nestled in breathtaking scenery, the campground is just a few kilometres from San Vito Lo Capo and the Zingaro Nature Reserve. Direct access leads to the rocky coastline with a private beach section. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available for rent here. Additional small pebble coves and white sand beaches can be found nearby. An adult pool and a children’s pool provide a refreshing escape during the summer months. Additional amenities at the campground include: a varied entertainment programme for children and adults during the high season, football, volleyball, tennis, and bocce courts, climbing walls, mountain bike and hiking trails, and a botanical garden. Bicycle rentals, shared washing machines and dryers, a mini-market, and a restaurant with an ice cream parlour are available for a fee.
The comfortable Happy Superior mobile home accommodates up to 7 people. The accommodation consists of a total of three bedrooms: one with a double bed and two with two single beds each. The sofa in the living area provides additional sleeping space. The kitchenette is also located in the living area and features a 4-burner gas stove, dishes, silverware, pots, a microwave, a coffee maker, and a refrigerator with a small freezer compartment. There are two bathrooms, each equipped with a shower, toilet, and sink; one of them is accessible only from the double bedroom. Mosquito nets are provided in the living and sleeping areas. The covered wooden terrace is furnished with a table, chairs, two lounge chairs, a modern hanging chair, and an electric griddle or small charcoal grill. If you need more than one unit, this is usually possible with us, as we have several properties of the same style.
ARRIVAL DATE + LENGTH OF STAY
Please refer to the calendar for arrival and departure dates as well as the minimum length of stay during your desired season. Note: If, for any reason, you are unable to arrive on the scheduled arrival date, you may, of course, check in the following day (please notify us before arrival). The same applies if you wish to depart early; in this case, departure on the previous day is also possible. However, the rental period and price specified at the time of booking remain unchanged.
BEACH
The beach is directly accessible from the resort. Sun loungers and umbrellas can be rented right on site. The white sandy beach of San Vito Lo Capo—often referred to as the “Maldives of Sicily” due to the turquoise-blue colour of the water and the fine sand—is just 6 km away.
POOL
The campground has two pools, one for adults and one for children, both equipped with free lounge chairs and umbrellas (while supplies last). The pool offers a breathtaking view of Monte Cofano and ensures unforgettable moments of relaxation.
FAMILY-FRIENDLY
A cot and high chair are available upon request and for a fee. During the summer months, an extensive entertainment programme for children is offered. The resort’s beautiful swimming pools and numerous sports facilities leave nothing to be desired.
LEISURE AND SPORTS
There is an adult pool and a children’s pool; the beach is accessible directly from the resort. Other amenities during the high season include an extensive entertainment programme, football, volleyball, tennis, and bocce courts, climbing walls, mountain bike and hiking trails, as well as a botanical garden. A diving centre and bike rental are available for a fee.
SHOPPING
There is a mini-market within the resort itself that carries everyday essentials. Larger supermarkets can be found in San Vito Lo Capo, 6 km away.
DINING
The accommodation features a well-equipped kitchen. Alternatively, you can treat yourself to a meal at the restaurant, which features a covered terrace and a beautiful view of the sea. During the off-season, these facilities are closed, and you can dine at one of the nearby restaurants serving traditional local dishes.
PETS
One pet weighing up to 35 kg is permitted if registered at the time of booking. The guest is required to pay a 120-euro deposit if bringing a dog. If everything is in order upon departure, the guest will receive 100 euros of the deposit back, and 20 euros will go to the holiday park to cover the cost of extra cleaning.
SPECIAL INFORMATION
The tenant is responsible for performing the final cleaning. Cleaning supplies such as brooms, mops, etc., are provided. The accommodation is inspected afterwards to ensure they are clean. Any complaints will result in a charge of 50 euros. High chairs and travel cots must be ordered at the time of booking if desired (for a fee as specified in the additional costs) or must be requested no later than 1 week before arrival (later requests cannot be guaranteed). Groups of young people aged 18–25 must be registered in advance. Confirmation of these bookings is at the discretion of the campground.

The El Bahira resort is located on the northwestern coast of Sicily in San Vito Lo Capo. The town’s beach, also known as the “Maldives of Sicily,” is one of the most beautiful on the island, offering an impressive panorama with its fine white sand, turquoise-blue water, and massive rocky outcrop. Other coastal towns worth visiting, such as Trapani and Castellammare del Golfo, are approximately 40 km away. Palermo Airport is 85 km away.
TOWN AND SURROUNDINGS
Sicily has always been known for its cultural offerings, its stunning beaches and islands, as well as its culinary specialities. One of the most beautiful beaches is located in San Vito del Capo, in the far north. The coastal town of Trapani is also a popular destination, with its picturesque buildings and narrow alleys, as well as the salt flats just outside the city gates. Castellammare del Golfo offers a stunning panorama with its picturesque harbour and the ruins of the medieval castle after which the town is named. Further west, you’ll reach the island’s capital, Palermo. Rich in culture, Palermo features Baroque churches, castles, palaces, and museums. Alternatively, let yourself be enchanted by the lively hustle and bustle of the city’s markets or in one of the many cafés on the city’s beautiful squares.
