The hotel is in a splendid location along the river, with convenient parking in the adjacent square. The town centre is easily accessible on foot via a pedestrian bridge over the river. However, the cleanliness of the rooms is disappointing. They are spacious and well furnished but a little austere.

The building and rooms were like they were from the 90's. The shower head was so close to the wall that you had to stand about 6 inches from the wall to get under the water. It was not a bad hotel...it was just nothing special at all. The best thing was the location.

Loved this place

Fantastic stay! Very clean, amazing breakfast! 10 min from train station and both markets. Excellent service! I had lost my bag on the train and the front desk was fantastic at helping me get it back

Wonderful

It was an excellent stay at the Crown Plaza hotel. Location was superb. Walkable distance to all the major sites of interest and public transport. Well maintained and helpful staff.

Always wanted to stay here. Only disappointment was that I could hear everything in the room next to mine through an adjoining door. But a nice spacious room, beautiful breakfast room overlooking the river with a good spread of food. Well positioned of course for the train station, shopping or a short bus ride to the MECC

A great location for visiting Maastricht, particularly if you have a car as they have a secure car park. A family room was ideal for 2 adults and 2 children. Very good breakfast and able to eat late. English tourists won’t have any TV options to keep the kids entertained, so be prepared in advance.
