The Residhome Lyon Gerland had large one bedroom. The bed was quite comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We faced the inner courtyard and the room was quiet. There are cafes and a grocery store across the street. Subway is right outside hotel. Good value.

Convenient access to Metro

The hotel is very convenient to the metro which makes getting around Lyon easy. The staff was very helpful. The room 209 we stayed in worked well for 4 people but needs a new coat of paint the walls were stained/dirty and doors can use a wipe down. We did find two live cockroaches during our stay. There was a market on Thursday with fresh fruits, vegetables and Tunisian food. Water kettle, microwave, refrigerator and dishes were all very useful during our stay.

Great location. Excellent bakery and a coffee shop right across the street, breakfast are epic. And metro station is right outside the building. Easy access... In house laundry too.

Ev rything was good when we accessed the apartment. However, we didn't get our 4 digit code to acceess the afterhours locker containing our swipe cards. The afterhours call centre operator couldn't find our name even after two phone calls and didn't want our itinerary number. My son had to callwotif back home to get our 4 digit access code.

The elevator was not working, there were no towels in the room, the toilet and sink drains were clogged, the bathroom was dirty, and the receptionist was a bit rude when she said you had to clean the kitchen after using it.

Not recommended at all

The room was not cleaned, and the elevator was broken and unrepaired. I had to carry a heavy suitcase up and down the stairs. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

We killed two cockroaches in our apartment at the first night. We reported to the reception the following day and we were changed to another one. In the second apartment, we found the ceiling in the bathroom with lots of molds and some of the plates were very dirty and with molds as well. We didn't borther to change to another room again. We didn't want to be charged for the dirty plates, so we broght the plates to the staff and showed them the bathroom photos when we checked out. Finally, the staff apologised for our bad staying experience and she didn't charge for our car park cost. This was the worst hotel we have stayed and we will never come back again.

Okey overnatningssted til prisen

Hotellet var egentlig okey til prisen for 4 personer når det var inkl. morgenmad. Det var ikke det mest hyggelige område men metro stationen er lige uden for døren og det er en kæmpe fordel hvis man vil rundt i byen. Vi var der kun en enkelt nat på vej hjem til Danmark så det er svært at vurdere helt korrekt. Vores oplevelse var dog at værelset ikke var helt rent. Væggene var ret beskidte og der var også noget jordslået på badeværelset. Det giver ikke det bedste indtryk af stedet. Men igen. Vi skulle kun være der en enkelt nat. Personalet i receptionen var flinke og morgenmaden var også ganske fin. Området omkring hotellet virker lidt slum agtigt.
