We have been staying at hunters inn for 18 years. It has been decorated and great improvements have been made. I feel there is a risk of losing tbe character of the inn. I’m not keen on seeing old building decorated in a contemporary style and colour, im surprised the national trust has done this. ...

Friendly staff, clean room, good bed, excellent breakfast. Only downside is proximity to road - traffic noise started fairly early.

One must be aware from the outset that you are staying in a country pub and not an hotel. With that in mind you can appreciate that the amenities on offer are limited but adequate.
