"Lovely old house, high ceilings etc Nice lounge Room was good apart from bathroom door didn’t close. Toilet flushing inconsistent Breakfasts very good with plenty of choice Lady owner very welcoming, sociable and helpful"

"Good clean room with a decent shower. Bed was a bit hard for our taste. Good bar area downstairs. Dinner was good and staff were very helpful and friendly."

"This was a great place to stay! The beds are comfortable and there’s a nice restaurant and bar downstairs. A bunch of musicians came in with fiddles, guitars and drums. They entertained us with songs and stories in the evening."

"The room was really nicely decorated and practical. We did notice the heating wasn't working but after messaging the team they responded really fast and when they realised they couldn't fix it that evening, offered us a different room (with a sea view!) which was absolutely no hassle to us and we were impressed by the efficiency and thoughtfulness of the staff. Would definitely come back or recommend to a friend :)"

"Staff during meals, especially breakfast when I was last one in, were awesome and so friendly. Two young ladies, one with baby due at Christmas, couldn’t have been more helpful. Lovely breakfast, lots of choice even at 9am. The lads on duty in the evening were also lovely, but service was rather slow even before coach full of Australians arrived."
