The best time to go to Luthrie depends on whether you prefer warmer weather and longer days for outdoor activities or don't mind cooler temperatures for a more relaxed, potentially cosier trip. For those looking to explore the Scottish countryside and enjoy outdoor pursuits, the months of June, July, and August offer the warmest temperatures and the longest daylight hours. This period is ideal for visiting local attractions like the nearby Balmerino Abbey or exploring the Fife Coastal Path, as the weather is generally more settled. It's superb for couples or families who want to spend their days walking, cycling, or simply enjoying the scenic views. If you're interested in a quieter experience, perhaps with a focus on local culture, cosy pubs, and less crowded attractions, then late spring (April-May) or early autumn (September-October) might be more suitable. While the weather can be a bit cooler and more unpredictable, these months often bring beautiful colours to the landscape, especially in autumn.
