Our stay at the Neelkanth Sarovar Premier was wonderful! The staff were extremely pleasant and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean, with all of the necessary amenities including a washer/dryer. The food was delicious with a variety of vegan options. I highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed here for 4 nights, and this is our second stay at the hotel and this is the only hotel in Lusaka we would stay in. We stayed in the double room with separate kitchen and lounge and is well worth the additional cost. The room is spacious very clean and has everything you need for a stay. The kitchen has the basics to allow you to prepare food, but you do have to ask if you want knives as they are not left in the draws. The kitchen comes with a microwave / oven, fridge freezer, washing machine and electric hob. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding is very clean and changed regularly. The shower area is spacious and clean, the shower does spill out into the rest of the bathroom occasionally but there are two floor drains to allow the water to drain away. Overall this is the best place to stay in Lusaka, Mandahill shopping centre is next door, with a half decent selection of places to eat, and shop, East Mall is definitely better with more to offer.

The Sarovar in my opinion is a 5 star hotel but the staff are even more impressive. You truly get service with a smile there. From the doormen, to Reception, the bar and restaurant staff, to the cleaning and maintenance staff. They seem like they just can’t do enough for you. I should also mention that the food there is outstanding, including some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had.

We love staying at the Neelkanth Sarovar—it is such a lovely hotel—in fact, I would argue it’s the very best in Lusaka. The deluxe rooms are so spacious and comfortable with a separate seating area and a kitchen, including a cooktop for preparing small meals. I also appreciate the washer with a semi-enclosed balcony for hanging our clothes to dry. This is my 4th or 5th time to stay here, and I’m sure I will stay at the Neelkanth Sarovar again the next time I’m in Lusaka.

Excellent home away from home

The staff are very friendly and warm in approach. The facilities are great with lots of options including the fact that the room is fully equipped with all home facilities such as kitchen appliances etc. The gym has an instructor on duty at all times and steam room is an added bonus for the best start to the day. Overall I would recommend this hotel and I have already rebooked for next year, the best hotel on Lusaka hands down.

SIMPLY THE BEST—hands down

My wife and I have stayed in hundreds of hotels in over fifty countries. However, the Sarovar Premier is unlike any hotel we have ever stayed in. This hotel is the best managed and operated place of lodging; from the front desk staff to the housekeepers; the chefs to the waiters/waitresses; from the gym staff to room service—we have seriously never witnessed such a well oiled and functioning hotel, ever!! Every staff member we encountered were pleasant, professional, polite, helpful, and genuinely caring. We visit Zambia almost yearly and it is with great delight that we have found and now chosen our home away from home in Zambia!! WE LOVE THIS PLACE (plus it’s right across the street from Manda Hill Mall—very convenient).

SAROVAR is always a win for me each time in zambia. Love the suite set up rooms, staff excellent always going beyond from check in, to the restaurant. James good guy , Nicolas , Virginia, towela, Neddy and also Samuel excellent staff they always have a smile on theirs faces. The security staff good team. Always passing their regards each time you see them. The ladies who take care of the rooms always making the room clean spotless.
