"The cottage was very sweet and suited our needs well. We were so pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the little town of Inveraray was, and had fun dining/walking around there. We also enjoyed exploring Loch Lomond from Luss - we took a short little boat ride and then had a picnic near the water. A very relaxing leg of our trip :). Thank you, Patsy."

"We all had a great time during our stay at this lovely, peaceful cottage. The cottage was a little further off the main road than expected but this added to its charm. We organized our food shopping early on in the week and spent our evenings relaxing in the cottage looking at the spectacular views from most rooms. We did lots of walking and climbing and it was a pleasure to come back to this warm, cosy cottage at the end of the day."

"Although I filled in a questionnaire and handed it in at Melfort Village reception when I left I have completed this one as well because I really enjoyed my week there.The weather was lovely and the views to die for. My friends and I had a day on Luing with lunch at the Atlantic Islands Centre which was excellent. Disappointing that the Shower of Herring was closed from Monday.My only complaint was that when I arrived on Saturday Sept.14th in torrential rain and gales there was no heating on...

"Tigh-an-Uillt was just perfect. Situated well for trips to Dunoon, Inveraray, Tighnabruaich, Portavadie, Oban. The outlook in Strachur overlooking Loch Fyne was stunning. The house had everything we needed and was very peaceful.It is quite a walk to the local - Creggans Inn and is along a busy road so local amenities rated lower but this was no problem to us as we took the car and we’re happy to sit at night and gaze at the amazing views. "My daughter and I absolutely loved every minute of our stay at Lochead Chalet. It's in a wonderful spot right on the loch side, and oh my it is so very peaceful! The chalet itself was a perfect size for we two adults and our little dogs and we found it very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. Karlina in the Ellary estate office was lovely too. A beautiful location for a holiday and a charming place to stay - highly recommended. "

"Our twin room was quite small, but,clean and adequate. The hotel is centrally located, everything is within walking distance. The patio overlooks the harbour and is lovely to watch the sunsetting. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. I will certainly return. "
