Tor Na Coille Hotel & Restaurant

"Overall Had a good stay. Our standard room the bed was a tiny double and on one side a sloping roof making it very difficult to get in and out of bed without smashing head. The kettle didn't reach the plug so had to make coffee on the floor. The shower was an awful old electric thing that didnt get hot and was just a dribble of water. The bar was set up for breakfast by 8pm and so we couldn't sit and enjoy a drink there after dinner. However these were just wee annoying things. We had a great dinner, very tasty and good portion size. Breakfast was okay. The staff were all lovely. We would stay again but pay extra for a superior room"

"Quirky old style hotel with large comfortable rooms and beds. Wed highly recommend the Venison Pie for dinner but ensure you book your meals in advance as they seemed to have very limited availability."

"The staff were lovely. Very polite and friendly. Asked if there was any particular room that we would like. Very accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable as usual. Breakfast in the morning was superb . What more could you ask for."

"Was a little taken aback by the daily £5 fee for parking as this had not been mentioned by Expedia at booking time. The night receptionist was very helpful indeed as we arrived very late from the concert. The stock of goodies at reception could be revised so that there is something a little more substantial than pot noodles for late arrivals. Room was fine though the quirky glasswork as the bathroom entrance is nuts. All in all a decent place to stay."

"Staff are amazing and hotel very clean. Hot water poor and was misinformed on enquiry regarding it. Unfortunatley and do not blame this person as new to position but we were told no hot water for couple days. Spoke to another later and explained due to hotel being quiet and old piped needed to run sink and bath taps together until hot eventually comes through. Other wise 5 stars all the way and we will definitely be back"
