"One of the best 3* properties I have ever stayed in, should really be a 4* but I guess they don't staff the bar. It has a pool and terrace overlooking Lake Lugano, it has a great little honesty bar, where you can relax. I left at 5 am so did not try the breakfast. The room was very comfortable, I had a solo room as it was just me and would definitely stay here again. The staff were so friendly and helpful in every way, especially in making a reservation for a great little local spot. Marvellous."

"A very good place to stay for a few days in Lugano, right in front of the beautiful lake and in the best area of the city for exploring on foot. The staff were extremely kind, and the room was very comfortable, except for the bathtub, whose base is curved rather than flat, making it somewhat unsafe in terms of maintaining balance."

"Poor breakfast service. At 9.45 the staff try to tell you which tables are available as they prepare for lunch!! Time to replace some of the old unhappy staff. Great location, but old building with only one elevator. "
